Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - Review

Placements: Approximately 60% of students in my batch were successfully placed. The highest package was around 14 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. This could vary based on specialization or companies. Some of the top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and CDK Global, offering roles in areas like IT, software development, data analysis, and more. When it comes to internships, some companies offer them as internships, while others offer full-time positions—it depends on the company.

Infrastructure: The department is equipped with modern labs, smart classrooms, and biometrics for attendance. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus, and the library is well-stocked with relevant academic materials. There are also computer labs for practical training. The hostel facilities are not up to the mark—they are "OK," but the AC rooms are better than the non-AC ones. Medical facilities on campus also ensure that basic health needs are met. The college provides sports grounds for basketball, indoor games, cricket, and kabaddi.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and approachable. They ensure that students understand the course material and are open to clearing doubts. However, it’s best not to depend completely on academics or teachers, as academics cover only 60%—the remaining 40% includes learning coding, communication, interpersonal skills, and more. The curriculum is designed to be industry-relevant, incorporating both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The semester exams are not very difficult; the paper comes from JNTU, and they provide a question bank to help prepare. The pass percentage is 75%.

Other: I chose this course because of the reputation of Guru Nanak College and the well-rounded curriculum. The college provides a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. There are many fests, clubs, and workshops in our college to showcase our skills. I would like to see more focus on coding skills than on other subjects. Events like Brumous are some of the biggest events in our college. Once a month, we have an HR Conclave where we can interact with HR professionals to learn about the current job market. Scholarships are based on the EAMCET rank secured. For SC/ST students, the fee is only 5000 if they secure a seat in the college; otherwise, they must pay 75% of the fee while the government pays the remaining 25%.

Placements: Placements are much better compared to surrounding Colleges. Around 80percent of students got placed through campus selection. Many companies come to college like Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, SAP etc. According to it, some go for Masters and some joined the company in which they are placed. Students are eligible for campus placements from 3-to 2 semesters. There are many companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, etc. Visit our campus. The highest package offered for our branch was 11 LPA. The average package was about 3 -3.5 LPA. Many students are planning abroad for higher studies and more exposure. Placements training is also provided in our college to improve the confidence of students during the interviews. Students placed were satisfied with the packages offered by the companies.

Infrastructure: The college is so big we have a good infrastructure 3 big canteens food is good You can have a great campus life We have a few clubs We have a big library book bank scheme is available You can get all 4 years subjects books from that scheme. There will be a lot of fests taking place in this college. Tech fest will be after the 1st semester of every year. There is a cricket ground, football ground and indoor stadium. There are a lot of clubs related to every branch.

Faculty: Faculty in the college premises are so friendly to communicate regarding the subject and for each subject, there will be 4-5 faculty members so, we easily get subject knowledge by taking guidance of all the faculty members Course they follow jntu course and faculty were well trained we get max associate professor for teaching they complete syllabus on time and labs are good we get to experiment individually after explanation they will clarify if any doubt raised. Our college follows the curriculum up to date. And coming to labs, our college has good equipment, also they've appointed separate faculty for the lab session. They help us during lab sessions.

Other: Campus was excellent in structurization. Every thing is available in campus like transport, canteen, hostel, stationary. Etc. Under 24/7 working service. All the formats of sports and completions are conducted in campus.

Overall, I am satisfied with this institute.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in the best companies and top most companies from here. Most of the students got placed in some or other fields. The complete training for the purpose of placements is provided by our institute. Many training sessions are also held by the management.

Infrastructure: All the facilities for students are available with all the provisions. A central library is available, and the infrastructure is really good. The classrooms are very good with a smart way of teaching. All the labs are designed in a way that students are accustomed to them.

Faculty: Lecturers, professors and all the faculty members are really friendly here and are always eager to share their knowledge. The pass percentage is also good. The exams are conducted genuinely, and everything is prepared strictly and very well. A comfortable environment is created, so students can show interest in exams and everything.

Other: It is one of the best institutes to have a B.Tech degree with the best infrastructure, curriculum, maintenance and best placements.

It's a great college with top-notch placements and skills development for all-round performance.

Placements: Almost 75% out of 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Amazon, IBM, Byju's, Genpact, ValueLabs, Infosys, Zensar, Kotak, Mahindra, Sutherlands, Airtel and Samsung. Top roles offered to the students are software associates, back-end associates CS jobs and network software workers.

Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure and facilities for every department including labs, seminar halls, broadband facility, Today Classrooms and online projectors. Our college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: More than 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Byju's, IMB, etc. More than 90% of the students got internships in companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provided in our college include there is one lab for every subject, etc. Classrooms are always neat and tidy. There is also a huge library in our college which has lots of books to improve your knowledge. In our college hostel, they provide very good food and also free Wi-Fi facility. They provide different kinds of food items, which are very tasty.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, highly qualified and also have a very good knowledge regarding the subject. Their teaching quality is very good, and they are also very supportive. The course is relevant to the curriculum, and students will be ready to work in the industry.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a passion for computers. The best thing about our course is it is very interesting, and you like this course. Our college organises fests like winter fest, annual day, etc.
