The college is good and infrastructure is good but the faculty is not up to the mark.
Placements: There is no placement through the college. Only 20% of students are currently working who got a job on their own. 90% of students go for internships and most of the students go in CS or IT but that year students come for mechanical engineering.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The college was too large and there is a particular building for each branch. Each department has its own lab but there is no Wi-Fi for students.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful in nature. They have a masters degree and their teaching quality is good but most of the students are from another state so they don't come regularly. The mechanical branch is always good.

Many placements are offered this year in our college.
Placements: Wipro, HCL, Surya, etc., companies come to the college. There is a very good placement opportunity in Gwalior Engineering College compared to other colleges. Many students have got placed in many companies, so there is a wonderful place for a job opportunity. I suggest you join this college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. The environment is very good. Every facility is provided in the college compared to other colleges. There are well-equipped science labs and practical labs. The classes are under CCTV surveillance. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. They solve every problem of the students. They are highly qualified and work their best. They are very good and knowledgeable. The college has the great faculty.
Other: The college is located in a very good place.

Unsatisfied with the placement part, after doing good in exams because didn't get a chance.
Placements: Not a single company came to recruit us, and there are no placements at all in this college. We were good at exams even though we didn't get a chance to get a good job from the starting. Though there is a training and placement cell, i.e., especially for the placements of bright students, we have never heard anyone from my course got placed through it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is nothing but a block of bricks and mortar. There is nothing to call it infrastructure. We have well-equipped computer labs. The classrooms are not ordered type, but well-maintained. The library wasn't having books of foreign writers. The medical facilities weren't available. They facilitated for outdoor games and a few indoor games too. There are huge gardens and playgrounds, and the college premises are in open space.
Faculty: A few faculty members are having a good experience and were very good at what they are teaching us, while few were newcomers, so it's a 50-50. The good ones took us out to the field and did practicals while the new ones are just trying to make us theoretically strong. We had few industrial trips during the course. The student to faculty ratio was good. The courses are approved to teach us as per AICTE guidelines.
Other: The curricular activities were happening all the time at different periods, which is the good part. Everyone has got chance to prove himself in their curricular activities.

It is a very good engineering college for the students who want bright future.
Placements: Seniors placement was good. Approximately, 80% were selected and the maximum salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The roles offered by the company were a mechanical engineer. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. It has a placement cell, which is good. It is very efficient. So, the placement is good.
Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi enabled and smart classrooms. There are good science and chemistry labs. The college provides sports facilities and indoor games. There are good medical facilities. The quality of labs and classrooms are very good. The hostel rooms are very good.
Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable having a PhD in their specific subject. The methods of teaching are good so that students understand very well. The student to faculty ratio 50:1, in my college. The teachers also visited the industry to train the students.
Other: The events and annual functions are conducted. They also provide the scholarship. They also conduct many extracurricular activities.

Overall it is a better option for those who want to spend less money or who are financially weak.
Placements: Gwalior Engineering College is one of the best colleges in Gwalior for engineering. It had good placements last year. About 60% of the students were placed in the CS branch, and 40% of the students have placed in the mechanical branch. The students from GEC are also working in PSUs and are serving the country. This year, the placement percentage was more than that in the last year, and we hope for more placements for the future batches. The package for the students was maximum of Rs. 6 LPA which is a huge amount. Maximum students from GEC are placed and are doing well and earning a handsome income.
Infrastructure: The GEC college has a vast campus near DD Nagar in Gwalior. There is a separate lab for each section, and there are well-maintained CS, electrical and mechanical labs. There are prototypes in the labs. It also has a big workshop for the field work practicals. There is a separate common room for the boys and the girls with all the medical first-aid facilities. The Wi-Fi facility is also available for the educational purposes. It also has a big playground area for football, basketball, cricket and volleyball for the students who are interested in the sports. Very good quality of the food is available in the canteen at cheaper rates. The hostel facility is also there for the students from the other localities. Overall, it is good.
Faculty: I did engineering at this college and scored a 7.6 CGPA. The faculty members supported me a lot, and all the teachers are well qualified and experienced. Their teaching methods are practical and easy. The student to faculty ratio is also good which is about 30:1. Regular industrial visits are provided to the students.
Other: My opinion is that it is a better option for the engineering purpose, but unnecessary fellows are everywhere. The GEC college has the good educational qualities and facilities. It is near the city. The accommodation facility is easily available for GEC. The teachers here are very helpful. It is also good for those who are interested in sports and fitness together with the studies.
