Highly satisfied with the facilities.
Placements: In my course, approximately 60 to 65% of students get placed. The highest package in the 2024 batch in B.Com (Hons) was 16.5 LPA, and the average package was around 7.4 LPA. The lowest package one student accepted was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are EY, Paytm, Zomato, Axis Bank, and many other top MNCs. According to a recent internal report of the college, around 30 to 40% of students from our course get internships. Companies offering internships include GT (Grand Thornton), Motilal Oswal Financial, and some others. Top roles offered are finance executive, associate, assistant auditor, sub-departmental head, and others.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well-equipped with everything required, like a centralized library, labs, a playground, and classrooms with good furniture and other amenities available. Free Wi-Fi is available in the library. The hostels are also good, as the food available there is tasty as well as hygienic. In the canteen, a wide variety of items is available at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and always ready to help us with various life problems. They know each subject very well and are able to deliver knowledge to students in the best possible manner. The B.Com (Hons) curriculum provided by Delhi University is relevant, provides us with the best knowledge, and makes us industry-ready. Passing semesters is not very hard but requires consistent study to achieve a good CGPA throughout the course.
Other: I chose this course because it gives us industry ready knowledge and exposure, which helps us to dive deep into business, finance, and accounting domains. The best thing about this course is that it has wide coverage of the things required in every industry. The course could be improved if the college provided us with more time for internships and other such hunts. Fests at Hindu College are the best in all of Delhi University, and students from other colleges also come to attend them. The crowd is fabulous, with students from all over India coming to our college, which provides cultural diversity.

A place to expose your latent talent.
Placements: Placement season has been fruitful to our course. Though the percentage of students getting placed is around 25% only, the exposure and interview experience were at the next level. The highest package is 24 LPA, with the lowest at 7 LPA, giving an average of 10 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are D. E. Shaw, Ab Inbev, etc. Around 30% of people from my course had gotten good internships in Tier 1 companies like JSW, Ab Inbev, Nation with Namo, etc. with a stipend ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 for the roles in finance research, trainee consultant, growth & strategy analyst, marketing, etc. The major roles for which placements are done lie in financial research, management trainee, consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Hindu College is very good because we have all the basic facilities available, like a projector, Wi-Fi, lab, and AC, all working in good condition (the internet, though, won't work inside campus). There is no boys hostel right now, though it's in process of getting built. The girls hostel is there and the infrastructure is good. There are 2 canteens per student in the college, with decent-quality snacks and food. The medical facilities of the college are good with generic medicine. The sports complex of the college has all the sports that are most often played. We have a basketball court, a cricket ground, a badminton court, etc. There is a gym inside the complex (but open only for people in the sports department).
Faculty: The curriculum of the entire university is good in the sense that it will provide you all sorts of exposure in the course you're enrolled in. We have a skill enhancement course, a value addition course, in NEP, which, in a sense, is meant to add values to students and not restrict them to only core study. The professors are legit damn good or the best; with the level of knowledge they have and the way they teach, genuinely, the discussions with them seem very intellectual and thought-provoking. The semester exams are easy in the sense that they mostly ask repetitive questions, so past year papers and some 2-3 hours per day study will help you land above 8 CGPA. Almost every student passes the examination with the exception of 1-2 students who leave the sheet bank, so the main solution is to fill your sheet with all the knowledge you have.
Other: B.Com. (H) is the best if you want to make your career in finance & accounting. It will provide you with many aspects of the finance domain and accounting industry. I chose it to pursue a CA course alongside my undergrad. The best part of this course is the alignment of the syllabus with CA, as we need to just refer to PYQs for exams and no concept building much. This helps us devote time to the professional courses. There is one improvement needed, which is the practical subjects rather than old theories and concepts, like the management theories, which are very old and we have to study so the need is to have new theories totally as per contemporary time. The fest is the best of our college, The Mecca; the aura is something that we can't express in words explicitly. The environment seems very energizing; the get-together of friends and the events all keep us very engaged throughout the festival season. The crowd in the college is good, in the sense that people are here who really have achieved something in their schools in academics as well as non-academics; only the intellectual people you will see all around. The alumni of our college are very good, starting from the civil services, sports, business, industry, etc. And they provide good connections. There are so many societies like consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, etc. that provide great exposure to real-world working and communication building.

You automatically get confidence.
Placements: The majority of my cohort mates excelled and were given the opportunity to be placed in some of the top Delhi organizations at competitive rates. If you are pursuing a degree in Science, math, economics, or B.Com your chances are unquestionably higher.
Infrastructure: The amenities offered to students at Hindu College Delhi include an auditorium, dorms, canteen, hospital/medical facilities, labs, library, sports complex, gym, and Wi-Fi campus. The library at Hindu College is home to about 116968 books, and it also subscribes to 18 newspapers, 50 periodicals, and magazines. Approximately 1400 new books are added to the collection every year. The college library is fully computerized and air conditioned. The canteen offers high-quality food services, a hostel, and other amenities.
Faculty: The professors at Hindu College Delhi are highly trained and qualified. The teachers at Hindu College-Delhi University (HC-Du) are experienced, such as Dr. D. Monika Ram, who works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany. She initially earned her B.Sc. from Daulat Ram College. Hindu College also organises faculty and student exchange activities. Teachers at our college are excellent, well-qualified, and supportive to students pursuing higher education. The course curriculum is excellent and current, making pupils the best.

Satisfied due to good placements and faculty in 2023.
Placements: In my course, the placement rate is around 70 percent. The highest package was from Brain, at 19 LPA, with an average of 6-7 LPA. Many students secured internships at companies like Brain, De Shaw, and Deloitte. The top roles offered include Project Head and Financial Analyst.
Infrastructure: The classrooms for our course are decent. Some are equipped with AC, though they rarely work, but it's manageable. There are windows, so the rooms are well-ventilated. As a day scholar, I can't comment on the hostel facilities since I don’t stay there.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty for Commerce at Hindu are excellent. They are very approachable and helpful. The curriculum is relevant, and various societies help prepare us for the corporate world. The semester exams range from moderate to difficult, with a pass percentage of around 80-85 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it aligns with my long-term goals. One downside is that our course includes Maths, and some students in our batch had no prior experience with it, which can be challenging.

Hindu College, DU- review.
Placements: There is a placement cell as well as an internship cell in the college. These cell provide a vast range of opportunities to the students. The top recruiters are ZS, Accenture, Brain and Company, etc. Every year, the highest package is more than 20 lacs per annum. These cells are really helpful for students to get an internship or placement.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very good. The academic buildings are in good condition and the college provides facilities like a water cooler, playground and amphitheater. There are seminar halls, labs and a library in the college as well. The auditorium at the college is beautiful. There is a girls hostel in the college. The boys hostel is under construction right now.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is really helpful because the professors are very experienced. The professors emphasize more practical learning so that students can gain practical knowledge. The teaching style is quite impressive and it makes it easy for students to understand the concept.
