Placements: In 2022 there is a 100% placement in all branches except aerospace and architecture. CSE and IT has average package of 17-20 LPA including offcampus and oncampus ang overall college average is 10.8 except offcampus. The highest oncampus offer by Microsoft 45 LPA to 9 students and atlassian 51 LPA to 4 students in oncampus and offcampus height package is 1.1 crores in CSE and 96 LPA in IT. Capgemini, cognizant, Infosys also comes with 4 LPA package. So be aware for lower branches here.

Placements: Around 90% are placed. The highest salary package was 51 LPA and the lowest salary package was around 3 LPA. The top companies are Microsoft, Wells Fargo, a Dutch bank, etc. Around 50% get internships. Microsoft took 36 interns and was multiple in Google too. SWE, consultant, analysis, etc. are the roles offered.

Placements: Placement is good in non-core branches like CS, IT, etc. The average placement package offered for this year in CS and IT is above 15 LPA and above 10 LPA. Core placement is only decent as in other colleges. Atlassian provides the highest salary package of 58 LPA this year to 4 students. Many students got placed in companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Texas Instrument.

Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 51 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Maruti Suzuki, L&T, and PWC are some famous companies that come here. Internship opportunities provided here are good for both non-core and core students.

Placements: It provides decent placements but then also not up to the marks since the average package is below, many colleges of the same standard and the percentage is low as students opt for higher studies due to low packages or even not placed or have some keen interest in any topic to have future prospects.

Placements: Almost every student got placed from our batch except 2 or 3 students. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Tata, Capgemini, etc. From our course, around 98% of students were placed. Placements were very good in this college.

Placements: Placement is very good after it became and institute of national importance. The NIT tag word will add benefits. Placement before 2015. was not so good. But recently in 2020 package is 40 lpa. In 2021it was 50 lpa. Its because the training and placement cell is improved a lot.

Placements: Almost every student is placed in companies. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA and for CSE, the minimum salary pacakge offered is 16 LPA. Oracle is the top company. All courses are offered in our college, AI is the newly offered course with affordable fee. Hence our college is the best one in not only placements but in every aspect.

Placements: For the year 2021, around 580 offers are made during the placements drive, as per college on-campus records. The highest salary package offered is 51.75 LPA from Atlassian whereas many of the CS students are placed in different top firms like Google, Microsoft, and many more. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA. Many students opted for higher studies and others get placed in different startups with a decent salary of 7.5 LPA.

Placements: In my course there are a total of 140 students from many states. Package for students varies from 2-20 Lacs in my course. Companies such as infosys, merit, WSP, Zycus, Byju CEAT ltd and many more come. Almost 50-60 % students get internship and in a variety of companies.

Placements: When I joined college at year 2020, we were divided into 8 group, where each group has 80-100 students of all courses. From 2 year we were divided according to our branches and in civil engineering branch there are about 140 students. Average package according to 2021 is 5-7 Lacs something as for minimum is 2-3 Lacs and maximum for civil students is 18 Lacs. Placements: It is one of the premium colleges of India and holds a heritage in West Bengal. It provides students the best in the education sector and placements are satisfactory. Though in civil, the competition is high but if students work hard then LandT, JSW, Shapoorji can give students big perks for their degree.

Placements: Almost all the students in mining engineering got placed. Many students are offered internships and jobs starting from the third year, and our top recruiters are Coal India, Hindalco, Zinc India, Tata etc. Many were placed in the IT sector. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the average package was 6-7 LPA.

Placements: Placements were lacking in the department. Still, if you are eligible to do great, you can achieve anything you want from college, not only academically but also on other sides. In the future, companies will definitely come as it is a developing branch in India too.

Placements: Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest departments in IIEST Shibpur. More than 75% of students from mechanical engineering got placed. For departments like CS, IT, and ECE, the placement rate is even higher, 85-95%. The highest package offered in mechanical engineering is around 12 LPA, while the median package is about 7 LPA. Placements: IIEST Shibpur placements for the academic year of 2019-20 had been successful as 511 students got placed in 111 reputed companies with a good salary package. Under the UG level, the institute offers placements under the B.Tech, B.Arch, and dual degree programs. Placements are comparatively pretty decent. Placements: Placements in our college are very much underrated. On the internet, if you search for placements, you will be shown average salary package of 6-7 LPA, and even 10 LPA for computer science. But the original data this year was with an average salary package of CSE with 17.05 LPA, and the highest salary package of 12 LPA. In electricals, the salary package offered was 8.65 LPA. Most of the students prefer higher studies over placements here so the placements are not highlighted.

Placements: I am from Computer Science and Technology branch. From the 2022 batch, about 69 out of 71 eligible students already get a placement at the beginning of the 6th semester. Still, almost 8-10 months are left for placement sessions. Now, only 1-2 students are left as per official data provided on their official FB page. Placements: In 2021, 580 students were able to grab a job, and several companies offered handsome packages to students. The highest package offered was 52 LPA by Atlassian. Several core companies and also big tech giants came here. Core companies include CESC, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Hindustan Unilever, Haldia Petrochemicals etc. Tech giants like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, etc., come here.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The placement record for the computer science and information technology branch is about 100%. The average salary package offered for CS and IT branches is around 10-11 LPA. Placements for other branches are 80-85%, and the average salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA. In our college, many core companies hire many students, and every year more than 250 companies come to our college.
