The selection to IIIT Bhopal BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. JoSAA registrations usually begin from the third week of June in online mode. However, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) manages the counselling process for the remaining vacant seats.

As admission to IIIT Bhopal BTech progrmme is entirely based on JEE Main exam, therefore, candidates are to submit documents that is relevant for the JEE Main exam. Before JEE Main 2024 registration, students must keep the following documents and information ready for a smooth application process:

• Valid email id and mobile number
• Academic details related to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying exams
• Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
• Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Scanned photograph and signature as per the specification mentioned by the NTA
• Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/UPI details for application fee 

No, BTech programme isn't free at IIIT Bhopal. Candidates seeking to get admission are required to pay the tuition fee which ranges between INR 7.2 lakh, the fees excludes of Eamination Fee of Semester Registration Fee,  Library Fee,  Laboratory Fee, Internet Fee, etc. However IIIT Bhopal does have scholarship schemes for students. The total fees to pursue M.Tech at IIIT Bhopal iis a composition of many elements. As per the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal admission process candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria. Candidates must obtain a certain percenatge in their class pass out exam. Percenatge required for BTech admission is a minimum 75% aggregate required after qualifying JEE Mains for admission. Subjects which must be included are  Physics, Mathematics, and any one subject among Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject.

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Bhopal) doesn't offer direct admission to its programme.  IIIT Bhopal admission is primarily entrance-based. The candidates are selected through national-level examinations conducted by different authorities. Students who meet the minimum eligibility criteria and have a valid score on the JEE Main/MHT CET exam can apply to BTech cousrse. For MCA candidates must have valid eliigbility and qualify the NIMCET exam. 

Candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main and clear the Cutoff for admission to the IIIT Bhopal. Currently, IIIT Bhopal offers only one UG programme, BTech across three specialisations- CSE, ECE, and IT.Candidates seeking admission at IIIT Bhopal are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

For its flagship BTech course, IIIT Bhopal admits students with a valid JEE Main score. Candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling.

Step 3: Release of Cutoff list, Counselling & Admission Confirmation
