The course is a relatively new one but only a few colleges offer a course with a focus on China. Overall, we are not treated as the kids of flagship courses are. PGP seems to run the college and the administration says they are bound by what students says and not vice versa. The college has one of the most scenic campuses in the country. It has a buzzing campus life, full of enthusiastic students. Since the institute is in its infancy, there are a lot of opportunities for someone to increase his or her visibility and establish oneself. The faculty is decent, not extraordinary except for a few.
