IIT Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Placements for the previous batches were good with companies like IOCL, ISRO, DRDO recruiting students of the institute. The highest salary offered was around 39 LPA while the average salary was around 11 LPA. Besides this, the institute also provides platform to the students to get internship offers through an efficient placement cell.

Placements: The college has provided 100% placements in 2017, 2016 and 2015. Core companies visit the campus for placements. The placement cell is also aimed at the placements of each and every student. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA by TCS, and the students are offered roles in the research and development domain.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. A reason for these good placements is it is one of the finest educational institutions in India. Many companies are preferring IIT and NIT students as they can get the finest students throughout India. Placements in the core companies are good. However, students are even interested in starting their own startup.

Placements: Currently, I am in the 1st year, and so none of the students of our batch has got placed. However, all our seniors are placed in private companies. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Companies like Wipro, LNTC, etc., visited the campus for placements. I am not aware of the roles offered to students.

Placements: Placements for students of the 2017-2018 batch were good. The average salary package offered was around 11 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, by Adobe company. Almost 87% of students from B.Tech got placed into renowned companies like Adobe, ISRO, DRDO, etc. The placement cell of IIT, Bhubaneswar is called career development cell. It conducts placements according to their procedures which are provided on the website of IIT, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: According to my survey, many students have received PPOs this year. One of the students on our floor has received a salary package of 21 LPA in September itself. Some PPOs were from foreign companies. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, bagged by a girl in this boys dominant IIT society. The average package offered to students of all branches is about 10 LPA.

Placements: Actually the placements for the first 5 years of IIT Bhubaneswar was not that good. But as per last two year analysis the placements are quite good. This year the package is 39 Lacs for a girl from Adobe. This is the highest package till now for IIT Bhubaneswar. Before this the highest package is 38 Lacs offered to boy in 2016. Placements: Current placement scenario of IIT Bhubaneswar is amazing with the highest package of 40 Lacs per annum in computer Science. In Mechanical placement is above 85 percent. The average salary is 8 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 5.2 Lacs per annum. In Mechanical HPCL, IOCL, Vedanta, Tata Motors, ISRO etc. All students get an internship and the highest stipend for an internship is 80 thousand per month. Yes, Our college has placement cell and it has a salient role to the placement of each student.

Placements: The placement scenario is decent because of being an IIT. Most of the placement were core placement this time. The highest salary offered this year was 39 lacks per annum. Main difference this time was that the highest package was taken by girl students in this boys dominant IIT institutions. There is a placement cell in the college and it's really effective. Placement scenario was good for mechanical this year most of the people upto 85% were placed. The highest package was from CSE department....

Placements: This college is the best college in Odisha. It has a placement record of 97%. The highest package offered is 39 lakhs per annum. The minimum package offered is 8 lakhs per annum. The companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Siemens, Walmart come here to hire people.

Placements: This academic year, the highest salary package was around 39 LPA for CSE students. The placements were good as almost all the student got their expected jobs. The stipend of around one lakh per month is offered to five students. For an internship, seven students went to China from the metallurgical department through IIT. There is a placement cell, and they are good at their work. Almost 85% of the students got an internship for the first time, and now, the college is providing internships for 2...

Placements: Our seniors got very good placements. Nearly 70% of students got placements. The highest salary is 39 Lacs and the lowest salaru is 6lakhs per annum. Average salary is 9lakhs per annum. Many big companies are coming to our college. And manyare getting internships. We also have a placement cell which is very helpful to us.

Placements: Placement session is still going on. It is very good in Computer Science, but in core branches like Civil engineering it is average and less than 30 percent got placed in core jobs though overall placement is more than 70%. Placement cell is there and I rate them moderate they need to focus more on placement for core jobs, specially in civil.

Placements: The placements in our college are quite good. In 2018, the highest package is offered by Adobe, and it is about 38 LPA. Out of 40 students, 39 students got placed. The other branch students of our college are also well-placed. The placement percentage of every branch is 85%.

Placements: The placements are going really good. In 2018, more than 50% of the students got 20+ LPA package. Nearly 80% of the students are placed well till now. In my branch mechanical, 90% of the students are placed, and rest will go for higher studies, so they didn't take part in placement.

Placements: 32-35 students were placed. The average package is 9 LPA. The highest package is 31.5 LPA, the lowest is 5.15 LPA. ISRO, Goldman Sachs, IOCL, Adobe, Amazon, Oyo, Tata Steel, Directi, Delta Power Solutions, NCCBM, KPIT, Fitjee, L&T, Delottie, Mathworks, Vedanta, Tesco, TCS, Tata Motors, Samsung are the companies that visit.

Placements: This time the placement session here has seen a huge growth compared to that of the previous years. Especially for the Master's degree, it has already touched the 80% benchmark and still counting as the season is not over yet. Regarding the average package here, it's somewhere around Rs. 12 LPA to Rs. 15 LPA for the bachelor's and from Rs. 8 LPA to Rs. 12 LPA for the Masters.

Placements: On an average, we get 8 lack per annum of placements. From our batch, 3 got selected in TCS at Rs. 10 lacks per annum, and its base 4 got selected in Fiitjee, and 2 got selected in Rao. Also, from our seniors, 1 got selected in TCS, and 3 got selected in Fiitjee, at an average salary of Rs. 8 lacks per annum.

Placements: It's one of the top institutions in India. It ranked as top 10th among the IITs in India in NIRF ranking in the year 2017. The placements are very good. In B.Tech, almost 95% are placed. In M.Tech, 80% of the students are getting placed in very good government as well as private sectors. Placements: As of my branch, placements are very good. Only two batches passed out the campus and two years had 100% placements with very first year's average package being around 15 Lacs per annum. The last year's highest package was 38 Lacs, and this year, it was almost the same, but as placements period is still going on, we can expect more.
