Placements: About 80-90% of students got placed. Around 70% of students get internships. 2 years ago, there were 100% placements in the petroleum department. This year, the placement season along with the internship season is going well enough. It will reach almost 90% hopefully.

Placements: Good placement states with the highest salary package offered is 1.1 crores and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA till now. Placements: The placement record for our branch is decent, with 52% of students placed last year. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the average package was around 8-9 LPA. Some companies that recruit from our course include Axtria, Virtusa, and Turning. Internship opportunities are limited for our course, but you can opt for off-campus internship opportunities. We see a maximum CTC of 33.57 LPA from PhonePe for an SDE role. The lowest was 13.38 LPA and the average being somewhere around 15 LPA. Our course contains a vast amount of scope which it covers. It nearly covers all fields so it is important. In our course, the highest salary package offered is above 56 LPA.

Placements: I am from the mechanical department pursuing a bachelor of technology in mining machinery engineering. According to 2024, the placement percentage of our branch is 75%. Students must score above 7 CGPA. The placement percentage for the bachelor of technology is 93%.

Placements: Out of 1,114 students who SAT in the placements, 993 got successful placements. The percentage of students is 69.97 in B.Tech and 54.13 in M.Tech. ONGC is the top recruiting company of the Petroleum Engineering Branch. Every branch has its own department building.

Placements: It is a great college. The campus life is great, and you will not regret joining it. The professors are decent, as it is IIT. Placements are also good. The placement ratio is about 85% on and off-campus. The highest package is 55 LPA, and the median is 13 LPA till last year. The top companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Google, etc.
