Candidates need to pay an application fee (non-refundable) in the online mode only for MSc admission at IIT Gandhinagar. However, they are required to furnish a hard copy of the application form along with a photograph and all the necessary documents in original (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience, and research/professional experience) at the interview time. Incomplete applications get rejected. IIT Gandhinagar admission process is entirely based on the selection of candidates via popular entrance exams such as JEE Advanced and GATE, etc., for courses such as BTech and MTech, respectively. Further, IIT Gandhinagar conducts an institute-level test for the selection MA and PhD courses.
