The GATE 2025 admit card for admission to the MTech course will be available for download from Jan 7, 2025. Additionally, the GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

- The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam for IIT Jammu admission to BE/BTech courses is scheduled to be held between Jan 22 and Jan 29, 2025. For BArch and BPlan courses, the exam is to be conducted on Jan 30, 2025.
- The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date has been announced for the BTech course. As per the official website, the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be conducted on May 18, 2025. Further, the application form will be released in Apr 2025.
- The IIT JAM 2025 online registration process for admission to the MSc course has closed now. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 2, 2025.

Q: How to get into IIT Jammu?
Candidates seeking admission to BTech at IIT Jammu are expected to appear in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and further go through JoSAA counselling to secure admission. Getting admission only on the basis of JEE Main score, however, is not possible. For MTech, admission is subject to GATE score followed by COAP counselling. For PhD and E-MTech, however, admission is written test and interview-based (conducted by the institute). The application process for a few popular courses is completely online. Q: What is the application fee for PhD at IIT Jammu?
The application fee per department is INR 300 for General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable. Candidates can deposit the requisite application fee by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities. Additional charges are applicable as per the rule of the concerned bank. The fee is, however, not accepted through any other mode.

IIT Jammu's UG courses include 20% seats (category wise) for IIT Jammu + IIM Jammu dual degree program (four-year BTech of IIT Jammu and two-year MBA of IIM Jammu). The transition to IIM Jammu MBA is to be opted by the end of the third year of the IIT Jammu BTech course. No, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIT Jammu are not out yet. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification.
