Really good infrastructure and facilities. Good placements.

Placements: More than 90% students were placed in year 2021-22. the highest was around 60lpa in Japan and average was around 16lpa. For CSE branch 100% placement was noted. Some people also go for higher studies abroad in prestigious universities. Companies like Amazon, cognizant, Media. Net, zomato etc. Visited for placement. Top role was SDE. Core roles were comparatively less offered.

It is a good decision to choose IIT Jodhpur as the college.

Placements: The previous year, nearly 90% of students were placed. Some students go out for higher studies. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The top role offered is SDE.

Good campus and beautiful life.

Placements: The placements Statistics of IIT Jodhpur re really nice. I'm from electrical department and the placements of EE branch are good. A lot if people join the research universities as well and these universities are top rankers in which the admission becomes easy in case you've done your courses really nice. A lot of companies like nvidia, microsoft, arcesium, paypal and many more visit for courses like SDE and this.

Best in New generation IITs.

Placements: Placement quality is good, and most students get their desired jobs through the placement drive, but the placement process is a bit tough. College is very supportive, and placement cell also does their best in their work. Last year's placement record is also good, avg CTC was about 18LPA some of our seniors got international internships and placement offers, the highest CTC is 62 LPA.

Review of Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur.

Placements: Placements at IIT Jodhpur are very good for engineering students as many of the companies approach the college. The top recruitment of CS and IT students is done by TCS and Wipro, but Amazon, Flipkart, Google, and Apple visit the campus for selected students only. The companies that visit campus hire students based on their skills, which they acquire by themselves.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: During placements, different companies visit the campus. Many students give their interviews and apply for the best jobs in the best companies. Our college give classes or lectures for the preparation of interviews and how to grow up yourself. Major companies visiting the campus are biotech Panacea, etc. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA to 5 LPA.

Nice college if you want to pursue non core placements.

Placements: Nice placement, almost every person got selected in placements. So overall placement is about 85% in mechanical branch. Here, courses like machine learning and data structures and algorithms are taught in regular courses. So everyone can sit in the non core placements.

Our college is good in terms of facilities and has nice infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 74% of the students from mechanical engineering get placed every year. I am a first-year student, so I don't know much about placements. The highest salary package offered for the mechanical course was 44 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA in the previous year. Tata Motors and many outstate companies are the top recruiters of our course. I don't know about top roles offered, but many roles offered as car designers. For mechanical engineering, we will get an inte...

I would rate the college average. But, it's still growing, and it is under construction.

Placements: There are no placements recorded yet. As the last year, the biotechnology branch came into existence so our batch is second seniormost so if our senior get placed in the year 2022, then placements records will be there until then I can't predict anything.

Great institution, but the faculty attrition needs to improve.

Placements: The highest salary was 22 LPA for my batch. The placement was approximately 100% for both my and seniors batch. Some of the companies that visited our campus are: Tata Steel, Amazon, Havels, Crisil, Direct, Morgan Stanley, DRDO, etc. The roles offered were computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering.

Overall I would say if you are not getting a core branch in the old IITs then only come here.

Placements: The placements offered were around 80% for the CSE with the highest package around 35 LPA. In addition to that, the interns were also good around 60% for the CSE batch which got on campus intern. The placements are going to be very good shortly. Also, the off-campus placements are increasing here since more and more alumni are passing.

IIT, Jodhpur- Upcoming star.

Placements: The placements at IIT, Jodhpur are improving with every passing year since it was established a few years ago. The students of all the branches get a good number of opportunities to participate in the placements and get placed in their dream companies. Some of them pursue Masters and skip the placement process. The salary offered can be around 10 LPA.

Satisfied with the placements but the infrastructure is not good enough.

Placements: Placements for the Computer Science batch have always been good with the average package staying above 10 LPA and almost 75% of the batch placed. In the case of mechanical and electrical, the percentage of students placed stays at about 60% with average around 7 LPA. Highest has been with CSE with students being placed as high as 60 LPA. Our college also provides good mentorship and required support to excel in interviews.

Joining a new IIT, as I knew would be difficult. With not an already built up culture, campus, reputation, student activity clubs, alumni base and many more perks the old established institutions boast of, an institute like IIT Jodhpur presents you with the opportunity of building everything up on your own and hence the challenge. No doubt, currently the campus crowd does not enjoy these royalties but gradually as the students come up with initiatives and ideas (which have already come up and so...

Mechanical Engineering here is getting better and better as the institute is growing older. But if you are considering for M.Tech. here in mechanical engineering then keep in mind that you may have to do Ph.D. in future as placement in Mechanical engineering is almost nil(not for ICT where placement is good in terms of number as well as package).

I am dissatisfied with some faculty related to their teaching and grading.

Placements: We are the first batch in this course, so no placements in B.Tech till now. But I assure you that placements will be more as we have a specialisation in artificial intelligence which may give enormous placement statistics in our campus. We have courses in data structures, which is also a trending job requirement, so we expect a huge placements scenario from our batch.
