The campus is very good and has a diversified environment.
Placements: Almost 95% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered was around 40 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 8.5 LPA. Multiple companies offered to 3-4 students. Top roles offered here are a data scientist, analysis, and software engineer. All students got the internship as it is mandatory as per the curriculum.
Infrastructure: The college provides very good Wi-Fi connections. Labs were in good condition with standard equipment. The library was good with a lot of spaces. Hall rooms were good. The food was a bit different in taste. It has to rely on the canteen for food. The college provides medical facilities for 24 hours. There is an excellent sporting culture.
Faculty: Teachers here are very friendly. They are available anytime if you need them. They are very helpful. Most of them are well qualified and have an in-depth grasp of the subject. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes student industry-ready.

Somewhat satisfactory but it could be better.
Placements: Almost all the students of my batch got the offer in first phase of the placement I. e. in the first week of December. There the highest CTC in my batch is 35 LPA. Some of the companies that visited our campus are exl, sprinkler, Barclays, tcg digital, icici bank, Bajaj Finserv, ibfc bank etc.
Infrastructure: In my hall, there will be triple sharing room in 1 st 2nd and 3rd year. In 4th year you will be allocated single room. There will be high-speed Wi-Fi and LAN service available. Most of the classrooms have state of the art technologies and all are fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Whether you are interested in core or non core, there are plenty of good courses available for you to explore and you can also go for minor or micro course if you are interested and eligible. All most all of teachers are qualified enough to teach and guide us.
Other: Honestly, the decision was intersection of my interest and my rank. There are a lot of things to explore both curricular and extra curricular.

Fantastic in every aspect.
Placements: The placements for B.Tech batch was very good this year. Almost 80% of the students of mining department got placed in different firms. Overall, 1000 students got placed within 10 days of the placement session which include PPOs also. In case of the internships, 300 students got internship.
Infrastructure: This college has 24 hrs free Wi-fi. The labs for the first years are not very high tech, but as you go in the senior years of the course curriculum you will get to experience the best labs in India. BC Roy hospital serves medical facility and sports culture excellent with a lot of games.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified in research as well as teaching. There are challenges in the day to day life while solving real-life problems are solved in the class itself. In mining, we had a field visit which is very useful for your academics. The course curriculum is useful for the students. The teachers sometimes follow blackboard or sometimes slides, depending on the necessity for the explanation.
Other: Spring Fest is the cultural fest where international stars perform as well as campus see a lot of participation from different parts of the country. Kshitij is Asia's the largest Techno-Management fest. The campus is full of greenery with a lot of places to hang out with the friends. CCD, subway and other canteens are good places.

A perfect college for the high salaries aspiring people.
Placements: There is a cell called the career development cell (CDC), which takes care of the internships and placements in the campus. Placements here starts in the month of December and continues till February. Most of the placements are done in the first week of December itself. The average salary for a mining engineer is Rs. 12 Lakhs. The placement percentage is 67% for the B.Tech students, and 80% for the B.tech+M. Tech students. This is the case of mining engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is good, and recently 150 crores has been sanctioned by the government for our campus. The hostel food is also good along with the canteen in the college. Also, labs are well-equipped, and there is a central AC for almost all the classrooms. The Wi-Fi facility is very good here, on the campus. Our'ss is the largest central library in the whole Asia.
Faculty: The teachers here are really qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. Mostly, projectors are used in the classrooms. It helps in creating online notes. We don't get any industrial exposure here, which is a huge backdrop of IIT-KGP. Also, the Kharagpur region is completely underdeveloped. The course curriculum is also useful here.
Other: The spring-fest is the most beautiful fest which I have ever seen. There is a scholarship named MCM provided by the campus itself for the economically backward students.

This college makes your future better.
Placements: None of our batchmates got a core job. Some of them got coding and software jobs, while some got consultancy jobs. Students did internships in CIL, Oyo, BlackRock, etc. If any student wants to opt for the core field, they have to wait until February because CIL will visit and recruit all of them.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is good. For 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students, there are triple sharing rooms, but after that, students will get a single sharing room. There is a very good cultural environment where students can improve their cultural, technical and sports skills. The bonding between students is very good.
Faculty: In the mining engineering department, all professors are very good in their respective field. They have very good contacts with people of respective and reputed companies. You can get a very good internship with the help of professors. They will help you to learn coding, finance, etc.
Other: I chose this field because there is 100% guarantee to get jobs.
