Placements: About 85% of students placed in ee department. The highest salary was - 36 lacs per annum. the lowest - 6 lacs per annum Average - 13 lacs per annum. Texas Microsoft, Adobe offered the jobs. Roles As an ee engineer or as an software engineer. The highest is almost 40 lacs per annum Average is almost 12-13 lacs and the lowest is 6-8 salary offered to our course. Less students get internship in ee dept. Almost 50% of the students got internship.

Placements: I was in electrical engineering, and placements were a bit less compared to CS. Approximately 70% of the students got placed. Students got placed both in core and IT companies. Major companies were Coal India, HPCL, Flipkart, Amazon. They were offered with nice salary packages. The average salary package ranges from 7 to 14 LPA. Students with good percentage had so many companies to choose for internships and with less percentage had to search on their own.

Placements: There is a placement cell in IIT Mandi. Around 80% of the students got placed, and the rest of the students opted for higher studies. Everyone got an internship and got placed after that, and most of the people got placed in companies like Microsoft, Texas, Amazon and also Google.

Placements: Placements for computer science students were almost 100%. Moreover, they got an average salary package of 13-14 LPA. The placement rate for the mechanical branch was around 40-50% as most of the students were not able to attend company interviews because of merit, and most of them want to study further. Similarly, it was the same for the electrical engineer.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. They provide ample opportunities to try and get placements. Lots of companies are invited which offer above average salary packages. Most of the companies offer a salary package of more than 6 LPA which is a good start for a fresher after graduation. If you are hard working, the sky has no limits, and you can get a number of placement opportunities and salary packages.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good for CSE students as the average salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the maximum is around 25 LPA. Though, this is not the case for electrical and mechanical branches, as the average salary package offered for them is about 6 LPA to 7 LPA and the maximum is around 11 LPA to 12 LPA. I don't know much about placements of the civil branch as it is still a new branch on the campus, but the minimum salary package offered for all the branches might be around 4 ...

Placements: IIT Mandi is one of the best institutes in placement. Here in IIT Mandi, 11 students got selected in GSoC. From the third year batch, 11 students from CSE and 1 electrical branch student got selected in Microsoft for internships. Around 5 students got selected in Goldman Sachs for the summer internship. Placements: This institute is new, but among all the new IITs, it stands at the top in terms of growth and development. The placements are average. The placements are best in the software domain and not for mechanical and electrical branches. The highest package offered was Rs. 28 Lacs per annum. Overall, the placements were average.

Placements: Placements in Computer Science are decent enough. Almost everyone in the branch who sits in placement gets placed with a decent offer. Salon Magazine quoted, Per capital IIT Mandi has quoted more millionaires than any other undergraduate institutes.

Placements: The placement provided by IIT Mandi is not to high but more proportion of students got successfully got placement either they belong to my course or any other courses. The placement provided here are offered by different companies of all the field. The most placed students mainly belong to CS stream.

Placements: The placement at IIT Mandi is the highest for computer Science and almost equal for electrical and mechanical. And for computer Science the placements are average, and it is around 12-13 LPA, and for mechanical and electrical it's about 6-7 LPA. Placement is up to 90% on campus.

Placements: Eight students were placed in Flipkart. HPCL recruited ten students, 11 students were placed in CIL, six students were placed in Amazon, and four students were placed in Microsoft. Now a days ISRO is also coming and recruiting at least 4 students every year. Tejas and Cognizant also come for placement.

Placements: Here at IIT Mandi, we first had 3 branches only, CSE, ME, and EE. The civil branch was started in 2016. In the computer science engineering, the average package is 11-12 Lacs with the highest package of 27 Lacs by Amazon. The mechanical engineering and electrical engineering students' average package is 6-7 Lacs with the highest 11 Lacs and the lowest 3 Lacs. The top recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft.

Placements: The placements are quite good in the civil branch. As it is not so old IIT, but will get many job offers from the campus and outside the campus as well. Finding the intern is mostly through outside the campus. Because to be a frank lesser number of companies came here for the internship.

Placements: The CSE branch has a very good placement which is approximately 100%. On an average, about Rs. 14 lakhs is offered to the students. Many MNCs also visit the college like the Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc, while the mechanical and the electrical have 75-80% of the placements. On an average of Rs. 7 lakhs of the package is also offered to the students. Several PSUs also visit the campus like the BPCL, HPCL, Coal India, etc.

Placements: Civil branch in IIT Mandi is started two years before, so there are the details of the placement and the average salary. For those who are interested in changing their branch, there is a large scope in IIT mandi. 50% of a particular branch student can change branch easily, which is much easier as compared to the other IITs. The package of computer science is good. This year, the highest package of two computer science students is 27 LPA in Amazon, and both had an internship in Amazon.

Placements: The placements offer the average of 18 lakhs per annum for computer science and engineering students. The companies like Amazon, Siemens, and Goldman Sach's recruited a lot of students. It also has career and placement cell which ensures that each student gets his/her desired job. IIT Mandi also has the catalyst which is a startup incubator and helps students who want to start their own company.

Placements: -> Nice placements in CSE (especially) as compared to new IITs. -> Average placements in electrical engineering and other branches in B.Tech. (generally similar to all other new IITs). -> More than 80% gets placed in every branch. -> The highest is generally around 40 lacs and minimum is around 4 lakhs. -> The average is around 15 lacs (CSE), 8 lacs (electrical engineering), 7 lacs (mechanical and civil engineering).

Placements: Placements were good. Most of the students are not interested in applying to companies because the package is too low and then there is no growth in the industry. But our placement cell is quite active and we are provided with choices of applying in quite a lot of companies.

The highest offered salary was 40 lakhs per annum. Big companies came for recruitment like Microsoft, Worksapp and L&T. They offered profiles like senior software developer and graduate engineer trainee.
