IIT Mandi Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: This year less than 40% of our CSE batch got paid interns via campus placement. The placement and intern percentage ratio went too low in these 1-2 years much below average as compared to other IITs. I came by seeing the placement ratio previously it was good but now it is worse.

Placements: 85 percent of students got placed last year. Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Arista Networks, Warner Bros., Inmobi, Zomato, Sprinklr, and Avalara are some top recruitment companies. Some mass recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Global Logic, and HCL. Some PSUs are HPCL, BPCL, etc.

Placements: By May 11, 2024, almost 80% of Computer Science students have been placed. The highest package offered this year was 7,400,000 yen, almost 40 Lacs per annum. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA. The average salary is nearby 9-10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BNY Mellon, Samsung Delhi, Nucleus Software, MAQ Software, BPCL, C-Dot, etc. The roles offered were software development, management, etc.

Placements: By January 2024, 50 percent of the 2020 batch have secured placements. Mechanical Engineering graduates have opportunities in renowned companies such as General Aeronautics, Velankani Information, and Larsen and Turbo. In addition to core companies, there are also non-core options available for Mechanical professionals, including consultancy firms.

Placements: The average salary package offered in mechanical engineering is 7.2 LPA and the highest salary package is 16.7 LPA. Major recruiters are HCL, ISRO, and L&T. Around 80% of students got placed in our batch this year on campus. Many of them get internships and placements. Placements: More 80% who applied for placement got placed. 100% placement for CS and this branches. The highest: 60LPA (Oracle). The lowest: 3LPA Top recruiting companies: Oracle, Amazon, Trilogy, Samsung, Walmart, Inmobi, Rakuten, etc. This students could apply for all SDE, ML/AI roles.

Placements: Nearly 80 percent of students are placed from batch of this year in campus placements. Many of them also get the internship placement. The highest package is 26 LPA for electrical engineering and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TATA and Bhel. Top roles offered are senior electrical engineering and we can also go for other civil exams because it is a core branch.

Placements: In our course of electrical engineering, almost 90-95% students get placed every year in whichever domain they want. The lowest package offered in electrical core course is about 12 LPA and the highest this year was about 44 LPA. Top recruiting companies for electrical engineering branch are nvidia, Qualcomm, Samsung while for non core students the companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, samsung, Adobe, blinkit, Flipkart, jabong, etc. Almost 80-85% students got internship mainly in non core dom...

Placements: Around 75 to 80% of students were placed with 1 crore per annum the highest salary package. The lowest salary package is 10 LPA or below. Top recruiting companies are Google, Apple, Adobe, Reliance, Larson and Toubro, Microsoft, Tata, Mahindra, and many more.

Placements: Around 50% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Cisco, Larsen and Toubro, some telecom companies, Google, Apple, Microsoft, and much more. The internships ratio is good. Almost everyone gets a chance for internships in any year. Some students get semester exchange with German colleges also.

Placements: Our placement season started in early August 2021. Students are provided with placement training as well. Around 70%-80% of students got placed in 2021. Students are being placed in many companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Paytm, software companies, etc.

Placements: In civil engineering, there are very less companies that are available for placements. Only L&T comes for placements. But there is most probably a chance of branch change if you do a little bit better. For the year 2021, around 4 students got placed out of 12. The lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 13 LPA. There is no such internship for our branch.

Placements: Most of the computer science students get placed but mechanical and core branches placements are less. The highest package offered was 13 lpa. All major companies have come like Google, Microsoft in computer science.

Placements: Very fewer students are recruited. The salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Most of the students who got a job were not interested in going for research or any other academic. Biocon is the top recruiter of IIT Mandi for M.Tech biotechnology. I don't have information about the internship, but students got Khorana and DAAD scholarships along with an internship at the world's top universities.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good for CSE students as the average salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the maximum is around 25 LPA. Though, this is not the case for electrical and mechanical branches, as the average salary package offered for them is about 6 LPA to 7 LPA and the maximum is around 11 LPA to 12 LPA. I don't know much about placements of the civil branch as it is still a new branch on the campus, but the minimum salary package offered for all the branches might be around 4 ...

Placements: This institute is new, but among all the new IITs, it stands at the top in terms of growth and development. The placements are average. The placements are best in the software domain and not for mechanical and electrical branches. The highest package offered was Rs. 28 Lacs per annum. Overall, the placements were average.

Placements: Placements in Computer Science are decent enough. Almost everyone in the branch who sits in placement gets placed with a decent offer. Salon Magazine quoted, Per capital IIT Mandi has quoted more millionaires than any other undergraduate institutes.

Placements: The placement at IIT Mandi is the highest for computer Science and almost equal for electrical and mechanical. And for computer Science the placements are average, and it is around 12-13 LPA, and for mechanical and electrical it's about 6-7 LPA. Placement is up to 90% on campus.

Placements: Here at IIT Mandi, we first had 3 branches only, CSE, ME, and EE. The civil branch was started in 2016. In the computer science engineering, the average package is 11-12 Lacs with the highest package of 27 Lacs by Amazon. The mechanical engineering and electrical engineering students' average package is 6-7 Lacs with the highest 11 Lacs and the lowest 3 Lacs. The top recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft.

Placements: -> Nice placements in CSE (especially) as compared to new IITs. -> Average placements in electrical engineering and other branches in B.Tech. (generally similar to all other new IITs). -> More than 80% gets placed in every branch. -> The highest is generally around 40 lacs and minimum is around 4 lakhs. -> The average is around 15 lacs (CSE), 8 lacs (electrical engineering), 7 lacs (mechanical and civil engineering).
