IIT Patna MTech is offered across more than ten specialisations. The PG-level course lasts for two years and has a total of four semesters. Artificial Intelligence,Power and Control, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc., are some of the MTech specialisations offered at IIT Patna. No, direct admission to the programmes offered at IIT Patna is not possible. For admission to the BTech programmes the aspirng candidates need to have JEE Main along with JEE Advance. For admission to the M.Tech programmes the aspirng candidates need to have GATE exam scores.
