It is an isolated campus, with good infrastructure and poor placements.
Placements: Core placements were not provided for my course. But some IT companies arranged placement drives on campus in which the students of all branches can apply. They offered packages of about 2-3 Lacs per annum. The number of students placed was very less compared to the strength of college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not bad. Good hostel facilities and an above-average library are available. The canteen is very neat and hygienic, and the food in the canteen is the best. There is a good ground for football and cricket. They usually conduct a football tournament with the nearby colleges every year.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are moderately qualified, but there are professors with high qualifications and vast experience. This course provides a variety of career opportunities. The semester exams are usually above average, and the pass percentage is a little below average.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I like the career opportunities it provides. I wish our curriculum is more industry oriented.
