College is very good and has very good infrastructure.
Placements: The internship opportunities are so many in our college, and it literally gives students to create their career from base to a high level. It is so well-mannered, and the basic skills learning is so good. The campus placement of our college is quite good, and from the 3rd year onwards, campus placement starts. It literally gives us a good hope to build our dream. Quite peaceful and very well-known companies also come here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very decent and rich. Fests held every year include freshers' party. Library facilities are also decent; all books will be available which are used by us. Good clubs also include math and tech clubs. Hostel facility is average as sometimes we face Wi-Fi issues in the hostel and sometimes hot water issues. Other than those, all are decent enough, and the mess food is average, though varieties are offered. Table, chair, fan, cupboard, and shoe rack are provided in the hostel.
Faculty: There are many faculty members in our college; also, guest faculty are there. The course structure is so well, and the exam system and the library is so good. The exam conducting system is very good, and it helps a lot. Teachers are so well and humble with students, and it provides good mentorship for a better future.

Life-changing experience at IIT.
Placements: In the mechanical engineering branch, there are two types of placement: core and non-core placement. About 78% of students got placed in 2023. Out of some non-placed students, some went abroad for higher education, and some joined IIMs to do an MBA, while others got placed outside the campus. For core placement, there are companies like TATA, Birla, Mahindra, etc. For non-core, there are MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, De Shaw, and many more.
Infrastructure: The mechanical engineering branch needs more practical knowledge and hands-on experience for valuable learning. We have engineering drawing and machine drawing labs. Then, we have manufacturing practices lab, supercomputer lab, and machinery. Apart from that, there is a common library for all students with over 1 lakh books, and there are e-resources too. The institute also has 24*7 Wi-Fi facilities. Our institute deeply focuses on physical activities and sports. We have SAC (Student Activity Center) for indoor games. We have Gymkhana, Adv Ground, and Rajputana Ground for volleyball, cricket, hockey, basketball, and kho-kho.
Faculty: Faculty members here are quite supportive and helpful. They are highly qualified researchers and are very knowledgeable. They are willing to help you even after class hours. Exams in IITs are quite tough, but there is a relatively fair marking scheme, so you have to go with the flow.
Other: IITs are known for their fests. Every festival, irrespective of religion, is celebrated in a grand way here. We also have a socio-cultural fest, techno-management fest, freshers fest, and many more events taking place every week. The campus is quite large and green.

Not too disappointed, infrastructure is bad, but placements are the best thing.
Placements: About 68% students got placed in my branch this year, which is quite low according to previous year, top recruiters are Goldmann sach, microsoft, jaguar, tata, Google, etc., the highest this year was 54 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA; the average was 19 LPA; and if we talk about interns, approx. 20% got intern in adobe, tata, Google, etc.; the top roles were sde, data analyst, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is so poor as it is too old, so you have to compromise with it. Wi-Fi connectivity is good, classrooms are bad, no AC is installed, the library is the best full-air conditioned, hostels are bad, only DG2 is good, the quality of food is good, although. canteens are best open till 4:00 am, the medical facility is good, ambulance support is 24 hours a day, and sports and games facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they don't want to teach us perfectly. Only a few are good ones; teaching quality is bad. I don't think that the curriculum is relevant; it doesn't make students industry-ready. Ya, but semester exams are tough, and pass percentages in all courses are good, but for a few courses like F.M. and H.M.T., approx. 25% fail each year.
Other: I opt because only I am getting this; the best thing is that it is so tough; teaching quality must improve; ya, festivals are a good thing about it, but only pro nights, not the whole fest.

It has great college life and placements.
Placements: About 70-80% of students in my course were placed whereas others did not sit for job interviews but rather decided to prepare for government exams. The highest salary package offered is about 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Google, and Ashok Leyland.
Infrastructure: We have very good Wi-Fi connectivity throughout year. Classrooms are spacious and comfortable. Hostels also have good quality food. Medical facilities are also top-notch. There are very good opportunities for sports and games. Hostel feels just like a home away from home.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and qualified in their respective fields of research. They are super friendly and supportive. The course curriculum is highly relevant to modern-day research. It makes every one industry ready. Semester exams lie in the range of moderate to tough exams.

IIT BHU-Academic review.
Placements: Around 81% of students got placed in electrical engineering at IIT BHU. The highest salary package offered is 1.68CPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. Around 90% of students got internships in the third year in companies like Google, Microsoft, and so much. Top role offered is software developed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad and I did not expected before coming to this college. Hostel is a little better compared to off-campus and department buildings. Wi-Fi facility is also bad. The library is better with air conditioning and books are sufficient for the course.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and nice. The course is relevant and nice. Students are industry-ready. The semesters are moderate and okay, and we can write well. The pass percentage is 90% of this college.
Other: I chose this course because I like electrical components and engineering. The best things about the course are labs and everything. Some lecturers are not up to the level and cannot teach well. Events are good in this college.

Honest review of Indian Institute of Technology, BHU.
Placements: The placements in IIT BHU Varanasi are considered very good as compared to the other Tier 1 colleges in the nation and IITs. The median package for mining is 21 lacs, where as the lowest is around 10 to 12 Lacs and the highest can go up to 40 Lacs. Mainly, PSUs or government companies hire in mining field. Students from core branches can also shift and sit for the placements of non-core or IT companies. Companies that come for IT hiring are Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, etc. Generally, 70–80% of students in all branch are placed. On-campus internships are offered in the third year but they are very hard to get and you have to be academically strong. The average package of all the college combined is around 22 Lacs. The placement process and the condition of placements are really good as compared to other colleges in India.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the college is old-fashioned and may not be liked by all the students. How does the college try to constantly renovate and improve the infrastructure? However, the Wi-Fi facility and internet are good. The library and the reading room are also well maintained and thoroughly used. The classrooms and labs are old-fashioned, and there is a huge scope for improvement in this field. Talking about the hostels, very few of them are modern and the mess food is very average. The medical facilities at the college need huge improvement. Sports facilities are so good that a total of 19 sports can be played on the college campus. There are local food outlets and canteens that have reasonable prices.
Faculty: With all due respect, the teachers are highly qualified but many of them lack teaching skills. The teachers in coaching are better than these professors. The student-teacher ratio is not good at the college, as many students sit in one classroom. The curriculum is average and most of it is not used in the industry nowadays. The students themselves have to put in great work and effort to make themselves industry-ready. The semester examinations are fairly difficult. But a good CGPA can be maintained in core branches or lower branches.
Other: The only major fault in the college campus is that it is not a closed campus; it is open to all citizens of the city and neighborhood. Multiple molestation incidents have happened at the college at night. Pizza is done mainly by the Banaras Hindu University students, whose campus is connected to the IIT campus. Security is also average. Retired policemen of the Uttar Pradesh Police are used. The festivals and college culture are very good and many technical and cultural festivals take place regularly at this college.
