Our college provided good placements in 2021.
Placements: About 95% of students are placed this year. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Graviton, Flipkart, etc. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 CPA, and the average is 50 LPA. Around 80% of students got their internships. Top roles offered are software engineer and data scientist.
Infrastructure: Hostels are almost 100 years old, so the infrastructure is not that good. Wi-Fi is pretty good. The library is a perfect place to study, and it is open from 9 AM to 11 PM. Classrooms are well organised and clean. We focus a lot on sports and games. Coaches are also well trained.
Faculty: Semester exams are neither very easy nor very tough. One who studies for one week properly will score decent grades. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is almost 100%. The course makes students industry-ready. Professors are very helpful and help us with various theses and projects.
Other: Events are extraordinary. Many students got scholarships. Spardha, Kashiyatra, and Technex are the main fests. E-summit is also one of the great events.

It has an average peer group, professors, good placements, but the facilities are not good.
Placements: Almost 100% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered by Google, and the lowest salary package offered by IBM. Some of the top recruiting companies are Google, Adobe, Rippling, Visa, Amazon, Trilogy Innovations i.e formerly known as Codenation, Oracle, Gameskraft, Slice, Inmobi, and Microsoft. The top role offered is software developer.
Infrastructure: In this college, female students are allocated SC and the hostel has small rooms to accommodate 2 students. The food provided in its mess is good, but no evening snacks are provided. There is no air-conditioner in the mess. There is a very small night canteen which is open from 2.00 PM to 2.00 AM. There are 3 sports grounds and 1 indoor sports complex. Only 1 lecture theatre has air-conditioners, and every other LTs are non-air-conditioners. Departments do not have air-conditioners classrooms, only a few of them have air-conditioners. The cafeteria is average. There is no air-conditioner and no UPI payments. There is no outlet for Nescafe, dominos, or any other food catering shops. But every other shop is available outside the campus. There is no boundary of the IIT campus. Anyone can come and go from this college.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are helpful, they can check their qualifications on the website of IIT BHU. Our course makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult as compared to other colleges. The curriculum is average in this college.
Other: This course is a mixture of computer science and mathematics. The students will get to learn them, there could be better professors in our course. Because of covid, not many fests are held.

Exposure you get here is unmatchable, every moment you spend here, you learn.
Placements: The placements for my branch are excellent every year and the percentage of placement is 200% every year as everyone ends up having two jobs. The highest package offered in the previous year was 30 LPA by Goldman Sachs, while the lowest was 9 LPA. These packages are just Indian ones. A year back, one of my seniors ended up with a package of 75 LPA in Oracle, Redwood City, USA. The companies which usually visit are: Goldman Sachs, Goldman Strats, Microsoft, Oracle, Walmart Labs, Amazon, SAP Labs, PayTM, Ola Cabs, Nutanix, Oyo, Uber, Facebook, MAQ, Alphanzo and others. The roles were mostly research-related, software development, software testing, data analyst and finance. Regarding the summer internships, 90% students got the offers from the college itself. This year up to now, from a batch of 22 people, 11 have already got the offer. The highest package being 1 lakh per month by Tower Research Capital, while the average package being 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IIT-BHU is at a developing stage for now, but it already has all the facilities you will need. Wi-Fi is available at some selected locations like in the departments, library etc, while we have excellent Internet connectivity via LAN throughout the campus. All labs are well-equipped with all the advanced machines. The classrooms are spacious and brilliant, and the library here is awesome. The medical facilities are the best here, obviously because of the college being part of BHU. The medical facilities are also absolutely free, it is like you are fully insured while in college. Trust me, I never had to pay a dime for any medication or any consultation. The mess food is another awesome thing here. I have never been to a college with better food. In terms of quality and taste, the mess food is the best here. The hostels are quite old here but well-maintained with beautiful gardens. The rooms are quite small but does it matter? All the facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty team here is a point everyone gets disappointed for. Other than some professors, most of the faculty members are not up to the mark. They are not knowledgeable, but it is an area where improvement is being made constantly through course feedback portals and some other initiatives. The teaching methods are old school with black/white boards while some classes are taken with projectors and powerpoint presentations. The student-faculty ratio is mostly 50:1, and the course curriculum is also acceptably good and useful. Regarding industry exposure, we get it through the internships we do, with the two-month summer internship and the one-month winter internship in the month of December.

All information regarding IIT BHU .
Placements: The placements at IIT BHU are really good, showing the legacy of the institute in the research, technology and engineering fields. IIT BHU had strong connections with both the technical and non-technical industry for placements in the college. The average package of a MNC student at IIT BHU from current records is around Rs. 32 LPA. The highest package offered on campus is around Rs. 1.68 crore, while the lowest package is around Rs. 12.5 lacs. This clearly shows how good the placements are in the college. Totally 100% placements for my branch and top recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: Certainly IIT BHU has residential facilities for the students; the college provides a bed, a table, a chair, and an almirah in a room allotted to 3 students. Beyond that, the hostel also offers Wi-Fi & LAN for excellent internet connectivity. The care taken in the hostel maintains a proper hygienic environment with regular cleaning in the hostel. Each hostel has its own mess where 3 meals are offered in a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The hostel also has common rooms for group discussion, relation, and study rooms. The hostel is too quiet, maintaining the silence.
Faculty: IIT BHU provides highly educated faculty members who have expertise in research, teaching, and engineering disciplines. All the faculty holds all the highly reputed degrees, like Ph.D., M.Tech., and M.Sc. And had an excellent academic career. The course is somewhat 70% related to exams, and the level of the exam is difficult, & the passing percentage is around 95%.
Other: I had chosen this course because this is the best I can get on my rank; according to me, the best thing about my course is placements. I wish to reduce the number of classes and remove all the non-technical courses that are taught.
