I had a completely happy college life.

Placements: About 85% of students got placed from our department. The number of companies visiting here for recruitment is continuously increasing. Mainly they offer SDE and analyst roles. Almost every company allows students to attend placements for some roles. If any student wants time to prepare further, this course is really relevant for them.

Excellent placement and good internship opportunities. Lack of good infrastructure though.

Placements: Placements are quite good. Most of the students opt for non-core jobs such as software developer and data scientist. The highest package was 38 LPA and around 85% of students get placed. The core companies in ceramic are very few like Tata steels and around 4-5 students go for core jobs.

College review of IIT BHU.

Placements: Approximately 70-80% of the students got placement and above 80% of students get internship with average stipends of 50,000. Almost 95% of the students attended for placement go placed in both core and non-core companies. In this year 2020 2 students are offered with 1.53 crore per annum package. The average salary package offered is around 24 lacs per annum.

Our college needs to upgrade its infrastructure as soon as possible. I had a good experience.

Placements: I don't know the exact placement statistics, but around 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in the core field is around 30 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is around 6 LPA, which is a decent amount.

Teachers are bad, but extracurricular, infrastructure and placements are very good.

Placements: As per the rule of TPO, the exact details are not known to any of the students. But I can give a rough idea about the placements. Most of the placements from the chemical branch are in the software sector as only some companies visit the campus for the core sector. Companies which recruit students for core jobs include Unilever (HUL), ITC, and PSU's, and the rest all companies are from software and finance and consulting. For non-core sector job, one has to be good at programming. Almost 80% of ...

I am dissatisfied due to poor infrastructure, poor facilities and poor security of our college.

Placements: More than 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 1.5 crores per annum, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Goldman Sachs, Microsoft Redmond, Flipkart and Amazon. Many students get internships either in private companies like HUL or government sector companies like Hindustan Petroleum. I don't have much idea about what are the top roles offered in our course.

Our college has a cultural infrastructure.

Placements: As I am studying in IIT, and in the previous year, from our course, nearly 95% of the students got placed. If you are in IIT, you have chances to get both core and non-core jobs. Top recruiting companies for our college are AMEX, Tata Steel, CIL, etc. You can be hired as PM, SDE and manager if you opt for core jobs. In the previous year, the average salary package offered was 13 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 34 LPA, but not every student get the highest salary package.

I am Rayala Kartheek a senior undergraduate student from IIT Varanasi. I already gave my review.

Placements: In our IIT the best thing is placements. Whoever just show a little effort will get placed. One can say the only thing which is comparable to old IIT's is placements. So because of rank your are not able to get your desired department and if you're concerned about placements you should come for this IIT.

Placements: Placements in IIT (BHU) stand apart from almost all colleges across India. The number of offers on the first day was more than IIT Bombay, which is an achievement in itself. The number of jobs in the core sector is less, but the college offers great placements in non-core fields like management, coding, etc. The average salary package offered in the first round of placement was around 15 LPA, comprising of all branches while branch wise data was not provided. IIT BHU is worth it. Recently, the college has completed its 100 years of establishment.

Placements: Placements are really good but most of the cases in non-core or IT sector. Core placement is still okay companies like Tata Steel, SAIL, BHEL come to recruit engineers. In core sector there is huge opportunity in research sector and also a lot of money in R&D sector.

Review of IIT Banaras - Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi (IIT BHU).

Placements: Our college stands in the top 5 among all IITs for placements. This college has a broad alumni base. For the top 4 branches, it has 100% placements. This year, the highest package offered was 1.5 crore for 3 students and 1 crore for 1 student. The average package offered to my course was 24 LPA this year. From many years, many companies that offer higher packages are visiting this college every year.

The faculty, infrastructure and placements are excellent.

Placements: Placements in our college are way better than most of the IITs and NITs. Around 600 students got placed last year. On an average, the packages offered range from 14 LPA to 18 LPA for software development profile. Around 60% of the students got placed in core companies last year, in which a few were offered coding profile, and a few were offered core profile. The college has a placement cell which is very beneficial for us, and time to time updates are given on the site.

A review of Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. The average salary package offered for the students of our branch is 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 26 LPA. Software companies pay high packages. Core companies visit the campus, and they offer a salary package of around 6-8 LPA. Non-core companies like Goldman Sachs, Inautix, and SAP also hire students of our branch, metallurgy. But still, most software companies only hire students of circuital branches like electrical, CS, and electronics.
