A place providing a perfect balance of studies and extra-curricular with pretty decent placements.

Placements: Placements are good. A total of 70 out of 85 students (batch is of 100) who SAT for the placements got placed. 70% could be said as the overall placement percentage. The highest offered package was 32 lacks and the lowest was 5.5 lacks. Core companies like Reliance, IOCL, BPCL, Avery Dennison, Vedanta, Jubliant Foods visited the campus. Non-core companies like EXL, Futures First, Tredence, Fortitude, etc. Visited the campus. Students were mainly offered roles in Analyst profiles, core engineeri...

Amazing college, great culture and activities.

Placements: The placements are really great. Even though they are not at par with IIT B/D, a lot of great companies visit our campus and the placement cell is really good. Except for core consulting roles, we have all companies visiting in all other fields. The average salary is around 10-11 LPA.

IIT BHU-A place where the student get all the facilities required.

The highest package offered is in the computer science department. More than 200 companies come for the campus selection in IIT BHU. This year, the percentage of placements was around 70% of all the branches.

The college has the helpful faculty, good placements, and the average infrastructure.

Placements: From my branch, more than 50% of the students got placed. This year placement was better than the last year placement. This year, the average package was around six lacs per annum. Last year, it was around 3.5 lacs per annum. A few from coding background has been placed in the coding companies. Their average package was around ten lacs per annum. Overall, there are good placements because this year there were many companies, who opened the willingness for mining and the other branches too so if ...

My college has good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Very good placement happens in 2018 in comparison to previous year. All recruiters come from the software industry. PSU also recruit some students from B.Tech courses. Placement is bad in terms of the hardware industry. Even then, about sixty percent student has been placed.

Located in the ancient city, IIT BHU is a college that resonates with the local culture.

Placements: The placement season is pretty good with most of the students getting placed within the first 10 days. There is a multitude of different companies from various sectors visiting the campus to recruit students. A decent preparation will land you a job. The average package in my branch is around 8-9 LPA.

Overall, it has good placements and easy academics. Don't skip classes and all will be good.

Placements: The college has good placements. Many companies come for recruitment, and more than 60% of students get placed every year. The student who is not distracted and does all his academics with sincereness he/she can easily get placed. There is a lot to learn from the college. As an IIT it provides there are many ways for the development of the college and students. They are interested in many fields to give ways to their juniors to achieve what they achieved is a big advantage.

Engineering physics is jack of all trades, master of your own interest.

Placements: In 2014, engineering physics was the first branch to be 100% placed, even before CSE (apart from guys who went to Caltech and Georgia tech for PhD). All the ten people of engineering physics were placed in different streams which is a clear indication how diverse the branch is. Placements were in electronics field (Eaton), trading, coding (software developer) (IBM, Cognizant), coaching industry, analyst (Mu-Sigma). Packages are always changing, but for our batch, the average for my branch was 7 ...

Placements: The placement scenario was good for the year 2018. About 70 students out of 85 got placed in our department. The placement numbers for our senior batch were not good. It was only around 35. The highest salary is offered 32 LPA, and the lowest offered is 6 LPA. The average annual package is 9.5 LPA. Mostly, the companies were related to non-engineering profile. Placements: Core mining offers slightly low initial package (around 6-7 LPA) while there are numerous non core opportunities available which offers a package ranging between 6- 20 LPA, these non core opportunities include software development, data analytics, business analytics and other managerial level posts.

Everything is good, but some repairs in infrastructure will boost the ranking.

Placements: The placements are really good in this IIT. Many of the students get placed depending on their hard work and dedication. It's worth studying here, but hard work is mandatory no matter in which branch you are. No hard work, no placements. Give your best and get the best.

Satisfied with the overall development.

Placements: The placements offered are the best for the coders as almost all of them are placed, but those who are pursuing civil engineering are preparing for the GATE, IES and PayU. I have great opportunity to earn a lucrative salary as the highest package offered is more than 1 crore per annum, and the average offered is above 6 lacs per annum.

A best place for you, if you're an interdisciplinary person.

Placements: The offers are ample as a whole, but the placement for students willing to work in the core of their education may find it difficult to handle the lesser offers. the lower pay scale. In the end, most tend to choose management and analytics as their career.

Placements: I got placed in CITI corporation, Pune in the campus placements. Till now, the highest salary offered to the students was 13.5 LPA. Out of 75 students, only 45 are eligible to sit for non-core companies. 20 students got placed, and the average salary offered to the students was 9 LPA till now. If you are good at coding, surely you will get placement. Sometimes, few companies also refuse to take the interview. But still, there are a lot of options. Placements: It has a very big alumni network. It is 100 years old. Therefore, it has a very good campus placement. It is far better than other IITs. Last year, the maximum packages offered was 2.3 crores. The placement in chemical and mechanical departments is not so good but it is great for other branches.
