Our college has a beautiful campus, which is full of greenery. It is situated in the city of Banaras and you can enjoy the Ghats and food. All sports grounds are available and the weather is quite good. Placements scenario as compared to other IITs is not that good, it is still improving. However, CS branch placements are excellent. The faculty is good if you want to study, but if you don't, you can easily find a way out. Extra-curricular activities like sports fests, cultural fests, and dep...

The college is good, but the BHU crowd makes it a weird place. And the city is not at all safe, number of incidents keep happening which is frightening. Moreover, some branches are really good in placements but the average package is around rupees 4 lakhs per annum. You can join if you are getting computer science, electrical or electronics.

Good college. Faculty is a bit strict but students’ life is great. Hostels are good, each hostel has a ground of itself. Beautiful infrastructure nice place to spend your 4 yrs. Ghats of Varanasi add to its location beauty. Placement wise good for non-core branches. Recently oracle offered highest package for a computer science student in India @2.3 crore per annum.

Life at IIT (BHU) is a once in lifetime experience. It is an awesome journey at a place which is treated as the oldest and most prominent seat of intelligence and knowledge. Infrastructure is decently good but not on par with its peer institutes. It has the highest number of PhDs on the faculty side. Spacious and beautiful campus located in the holy city of Varanasi. Well recognized by foreign universities in terms of masters study and research. Placements are well above fancy for branche...

Classes at FMS are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies, and presentations. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both internal and external exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Although surprise tests are not very common, but students try and stay as up-to-date as possible in subjects such as Finance and Economics where you won't know when your knowledge is put to test. Students are not gi...

This was a good college experience. Academically, was not as expected from an IIT. The college has a superb infrastructure. Has good facilities for practical and labs. It has all kinds of workshops and labs. Students get very less help from the college administration to grow one's entrepreneur skills. The placement is very good for its related branches while for other core branches, it's not so good. It is cheaper in terms of tuition and hostel fees. Food in the hostel is very good as compare...

Infrastructure is more or less traditional but college enhanced it.

Placements: First, I would like to apologize for late reply to an A2A. Company: Oracle Inc. Redwood City, USA. I'll answer your question as it states. However, explaining it in terms of placements will not justify my objectives. Aims on entering the college: Well, I had screwed up my IIT-JEE and ended up here with Mining Engg. I had just one thing on my mind and nothing else - branch change, since I was very much interested in computer science. Fortunately, I was able to switch my branch to computer scie...

Teachers of our institute are not helpful.

Placements: All the ECE students get placements. It is a crucial branch. Since it is an IIT, students need to work hard and develop their skills. Non-core internships are provided based on CPI and CP. So it is best to keep those two things in balance for non-core sectors but core CPI matters.

I recommend IIT BHU. It's the most beautiful campus with good placements and in a lively city.

Placements: In the computer science branch, there are only GRE admissions, and 11 admissions are available for general students. Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle, etc., visit here for placements. Except for 2 or 3 students, the rest of all students get internships in highly reputed companies. Software developer, website backend and front-end, app development, data scientist, etc., are the top roles offered in our course.

I am satisfied with the faculty and placements of IIT BHU but its infrastructure is still lagging.

Placements: Placement offered in our senior branch was great and almost everyone got placed. Most of them were placed in core companies like Qualcomm, Intel, NXP, Samsung and TI. The highest package offered to our senior was 30 lacs INR and the minimum was around 8 lacs.

I had an unforgettable experience at IIT BHU.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed in the previous year. Some of the students opt for higher studies while remaining all students got placed. The highest salary package offered in the core sector was 28 LPA. In the non-core sector, the highest salary package offered was above 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 8.5 LPA. From the non-core sector, Goldman Sachs visits here for placements. From the core sector, companies like Microsof...

Review of IIT Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Nearly 98% of the students got placed with an average salary package of 13 LPA. The highest salary package offered by non-core companies is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Many students are not interested to attend placements but opt for higher studies/UPSC. Positions offered here are data analyst and in coding. Core companies also offered higher posts in the metallurgical field. Companies like Vedanta, etc., also visit here.

This college is excellent with good campus life.

Placements: In case of placements, IIT Varanasi is much better than other IITs. The average salary package offered is 11 LPA, PA, and it depends on the performance of the student and how they are involved in technical jobs. Apart from this students must have a good personality.

Overall it is a very good college and requires a good rank in JEE advance to be a part of it.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many core companies have shown their interest. But the recruitment of non-core was at the peak as always. This year many financial companies and coaching institutes have shown interest too. The overall placement is good and rates are higher than the previous year with high salary packages. Almost more than 95% of the registered students were placed through campus placement.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. All the top companies visit the college and hire a lot of students. Most of the students from our branch got placed in the software profile. The average salary package in our branch this year was 19 LPA. The number of companies offering the job in the core profile is less.

Review of Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi.

Placements: We describe it as one of the best education institutions in India for engineering because it is a part of BHU University. It is a unique opportunity for us to understand other stream students. The campus is so nice. Our seniors have good placements. Out of 1000 students nearly 700 placed in the 1st phase of the last year.
