Dissatisfied about its placement, faculty members and management.
Placements: There are no scope placement for architecture students & you have to do internship on your own. They don't provide any internship, even they don't help you to get one, but it's mandatory, if you don't you'll fail. You have to submit your submissions on time, neither you've no chance to get pass.
Infrastructure: Hostels are pretty good with all facilities with good food & wi-fi even, washing machine, fridge and ovens are available for students in the hostel. It has also a personal bank branch, post office, branch & a large dispensary. There are 2 canteens and one food court inside the college area. It has a large campus with 9 hostels and some private hostels and officer's hostel, guest house, 2 temples, a park area, play grounds, gym and a pump house and no. Of quarters.
Faculty: Some good teachers are present with good knowledge who are always helpful. They make us understand without partiality. Semester examinations are tough sometimes, but you can't expect to do any malpractice in the examination hall.
Other: Syllabus is in a management way of mixtute of skill & knowledge. I've my personal interest in architecture field, that's why I'm here, lastly it's a good college & bind you always with it's unbreakable emotions, you'll never forget your enjoyable campus life. You'll never disappoint with your knowledge what you gain from this place. This place teaches you how to handle any kind of difficulties in your upcoming life.

The college infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: About 60% of our total seniors got placed but through off-campus placements as on-campus placements are low. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, while the average salary package of 4-5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 3 LPA are offered in our college. About 50% of total students get internships in companies.
Infrastructure: Studios are good, but the tables provided are not up to mark as working edges are broken in some tables. Hostel rooms are not up to the mark as there are leakages, room ceiling is flaking off, and water supply stops after 7 am morning. The mess food is oily sometimes, and the playground has weed plants.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but their teaching quality is not good. Their teaching doesn't make us industry-ready. The college conducts very less study tours, so it doesn't make you industry-ready. We need better teachers and better facilities for architecture students.
Other: My childhood ambition is to be an architect, so I chose this course. The best thing about architecture is you get to know much about the places you live, in the type of culture in a place depending upon which we create a model of the house.

The college is a bit worthy.
Placements: The college does not provide placements. In our course, students didn't get placements, and rather at the end of our course, students have to make a final portfolio including their internship work and all the best things they designed during course. That portfolio will be circulated in different companies, and the one who will like students work will appoint them.
Infrastructure: The college has very poor infrastructure. In this college, our department has been allotted very few rooms to have class, and students are not comfortable in it. Students didn't get any Wi-Fi facility in our department. The hostels are not provided to the boys for the first 2 years, and they get hostels directly in the 3rd year.
Faculty: Teachers are completely qualified, little helpful, less experienced and lack the knowledgeable criteria. But anyhow students make adjustments from both sides.

I had the best experience of my life in IGIT Sarang.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements to the architecture course. But students can get placement from off-campus interviews. It is the best course as I got lots of things to learn from architecture. Our college is like a paradise to me. One of my unforgettable life-time experience is that I have spent 5 years in IGIT Sarang.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is standard. But the practical laboratories and studios are very good. The dome building, which is the main building of the college, and it attracts everyone towards the college. It also creates a contemporary atmosphere in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative, and they give their best to the growth and development of the students as well as the college. They are friendly and help us in our every difficult situation and guide us like our parents.

Pretty good campus with poor placement.
Placements: Well to be honest the placements are not so good. Very few companies come over our college for placements. The highest salary was around 8 Lacs p. a, the lowest salary was around 2.5lakhs and average being 4lakhs p. a. Our seniors were not placed in a good companies. They had to search job by themselves. Approximately 10% students were placed through campus selection other had to find their job by themselves only. Companies like tcs, Wipro, vedanta, etc. Visited our college. Internship chances are pretty high. Teachers would help you to get internships even under iits and big companies. The highest stipend that was covered was 12000, the lowest 3500 and average 5000. Yes of course there is a placement cell It is not at all useful.
Infrastructure: Talking about facilities our campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled campus with jio boosters placed everywhere. Labs are well-equipped and contains mostly everything related to our course and syllabus. Classrooms are in good condition with proper lightning and fan with wooden furnished chairs and desks. Library is well maintained, centralized AC, contains every Branch's book, past question papers, e-journals. There is near by doctor's chamber but not so useful. Sports and games are at high content. Wushu is being teached for self protection. Foods are excellent in canteens. We have 3 canteen. Each one with fresh food every day. Talking about hostels there are 2 girls' hostel and 5 boys hostel. Don't know about boy's but girls' hostel rooms are small but spacious enough for 6 students.
Faculty: Well the frequency of the teachers in our department is too short. But they are well educated and knowledgeable. Holding either Ph.D. degrees or master degrees. Teaching quality is excellent. Helped me to learn with ease They basically used classroom work more than home work to bring out the best in us Student to faculty is ratio is 50:1 No not yet any industry exposure Yes the course curriculum was useful.
Other: Our college organizes " Horizon"-the biggest cultural fest in Odisha. It also organizes other branch fest as well. Well connected with other places through buses and trains. Campus crowd is pretty awesome. Scholarship includes medhabruti and prerana. Extraordinary activities include wushu.

Hi K Rajeshwari, Sorry to say but you can't get a seat in either of these colleges. You should go for private colleges like Amity University or LPU for Bachelor of architecture courses. Best of luck.
