IIST Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: I have been selected in 2 firms and the college provide good training facilities to the students as well. All the companies that came in the college were giving a good pay scale and very good opportunities. Overall, I really had a good time in the college.

Placements: Placements in our college were very poor. Only one reputed organisation visited the campus for placements, and the organisation was Tata Consultancy Services. All the other organisations were small and local companies in Indore city. There were no placement opportunities for mechanical and civil branches.

Placements: They do not provide you with a good placement. They will show you that our college has 75% students placed but all are of advisory firms or non-tech profiles. The college promises to bring big companies like Cognizant, TCS and Mindtree but they won't. Instead, they bring local or start-up companies.

Arrogant and immature Faculty members, some are just fresh out of college and some were unable to clear their own engineering without backlogs. Sessional are based on how much you can butter up faculty members not on performance. BPO's and KPO's come for campus recruitment for Engineers except TCS. Only good thing about college is its infrastructure, it has got a huge football ground but sports faculty members won't let you play there unless it's sports week because they believe that students w...
