Placements: There was a placement department in the college of which students were also a part, but the corporate relations with the HRs of the companies were not that good and hence no good companies visited the college. There is a centralized placement cell of DU which helped.
Placements: The placements are good. The average pay is 2-3 lacs per annum. Companies like EY, RBI and SBI have visited our college. Roles like Sales Executive and Audit Associate have been offered. Almost 30% of the people got selected and were placed. The minimum salary offered till now was 2 lacs per annum and the maximum offered was 3,30,000 per annum.
Placements: At my time, there were fewer companies which visited due to the NAAC program, so I have less information regarding this, but my senior batch got placed in well-organised companies. There were companies that provide various posts like marketing, data analyst, business development executive, researcher etc.
Most branches here are above par. Teachers in my own department are definitely some of the brilliant faculty members a student can have. The college offers a lot of extra-curricular opportunities. Only one drawback I felt was the extreme strictness in the matter of attendance. Otherwise, I would recommend this college to every girl.
The college is the best in all the aspects. The college is situated on the north campus. It is ranked 9th among the top 10 commerce colleges and the college was awarded Grade A by the NAAC. There is also a swimming pool in the campus, so those who are great swimmers and love swimming can join this college. The college also has other sports facilities and also has a gym. The fests of the college are not so cool but it also comes in the top 10 DU fest list. It is better than any other college in ...
The college has a beautiful campus and a decent Faculty. There is a famous ‘Bun Tiki Stall’ outside the gate. Being an hotelier, I have had the most amazing time of my life in IP. A truly enriching experience. The staff needs to be a little more flexible and supportive in terms of non-academic ventures. The placement committee needs to be more proactive.
The college infrastructure is good but the fans and lights don’t work properly. The food quality is up to the mark and has many options. The best thing about college is its campus and hostel. It is very safe for girls and the metro station is nearby, so commuting is always easy.
My college was situated in a peaceful, beautiful area of Civil Lines. It was both a part of North Campus and off it as it was 1 km away from the hustle bustle of the campus area. It has greenery all around and a huge field. The college featured in the top 10 institutes in political science, psychology, and commerce. It is the only institute in the north offering Bachelor's in Mass media and communication and is again among the best in Delhi University. The faculty is learned and experienced and ...
This college stands a place in the Delhi university top ten list. It has a beautiful campus, which is a heritage site too. It is so green, clean and peaceful. This college is equipped with all facilities, as far as sports are concerned. There is a swimming pool, gymnasium, BB court, both wooden and synthetic, squash court, tennis court, shooting range, archery setup, and what not. The college has highly educated faculty members and is very selective with the faculty members. The college has ...
The infrastructure of the college is really good. The faculty members are very helpful and understanding. The canteen food has a vast variety and every food item available here is excellent. The best part is the library, it has a good collection of books available and the computer facility is an advantage.
Indraprastha College is one of the best Girls College of Delhi University. I have done Philosophy from this college and I must tell that it has the best faculty and department for the course. This college is very costly if we compare it with other Delhi university colleges. Very disciplined college and it focuses on the student’s development as well as their regularity for attending classes.
This women's college has undoubtedly the most beautiful campus area and the building is one of the heritage buildings of Delhi. Civil Lines itself doesn't have a place to hang out, so in case you have one or two lectures free, you just wonder what and where to go. Although, Kamla Nagar, and Connaught Place are both 15 minutes away! The college is strict in a lot of aspects, you don't get to have the much hyped "college-life" here It's like, you don't feel like you are studying in "DU". Mayb...
In my opinion, my college is really good. As it comes under DU, the annual fee is very less as compared to private colleges. The facility of this college is too good. My college is the best option for Arts students than for commerce students. Teachers are so friendly and they are always available for student's queries. But there are some teachers who really need to improve themselves. They just don't know how to teach, it looks like as if they are teaching themselves only. But overall, my coll...
Placements: Placement in our college ipcw is not very established and the figure about actual placed students is not available. There is a placement cell which organises various seminars and give information about placement. Although there are ample number of placement opportunities for economics students here .
Placements: The course since you have a look at it contains computer applications so you can imagine the scope for it and the chances of getting placements becomes high because of it if you are good with your coding skills. Top recruiting companies are delloite, amazon and internships are performance based.
Placements: Since my course was a Humanities subject, so basically there was no placements organised for us. We were not even made aware if there could be any placement at all from our course. So in terms of placement, anyone would give a zero. However, there were a few placements in B.Sc. conputer Science course.
Placements: The placement cell only works to provide internships, but you can easily find them on sites like Internshala. Further, these are not verified by the placement cell themselves. It is really inefficient. They are very lucrative in terms of the experience or cash earned and don't really give you anything to add to your CV. It is entirely student-run, and I'm pretty sure no staff is involved in the process since the college really doesn't care about placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are satisfactory. Placements are offered every year based on the interest of the students. Every year a variety of different profiles are offered to the students. For placements, different classes and workshops are organised in order to cope up with the competition.
Placements: I don't have any idea about this because my field is different and they don't offer many placements for the psychology department. Only B.Com (Hons) and economic hons people have opportunities for placements and very few opportunities for other departments.
Placements: About 30% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. I don't remember the top recruiting companies for our course. Economic investigator and economic analyst are the top roles offered in our course. About 70% of the students were doing internships. Most of them got internships on their own and not through our college.
