Placements: There are no placements that I know as of now. But the College should be working on this and should improve these things. But yes, the college provides many internship opportunities to students and provides different types of activity-related programs to help them out .
Placements: Around 80% of students are given guaranteed placements. Courses like B.Com. mass communication and psychology offered placements. Placements are around 7 lakhs per annum and it far exceeds the cost of education here. Talking about internships, there are several opportunities for them.
Placements: We are a batch of 82 girls. There is no placement opportunity for B.A. psychology honours students after graduation From my college, there are less or no opportunities available in the outside world but this course is the best in IPCW from any other college in Delhi University.
Placements: For psychology, the placements are not really nice. Post-graduates are mostly preferred for placements. However, the college offers various internship opportunities within the course. These opportunities could be for roles such as content writers, social media managers, and various psychology profiles.
Placements: This course provides no internships or placements related to geography. Only B.Com honors and economics honors had good set of placements, only 2 students from department received placements, that related to B.Com honors. It was an average course.
Placements: Not every course has good placement opportunities provided by the placement cell. Usually, B.Com has good placements in the big 4s, but the other courses only get mediocre placement opportunities. Most of the students opt for higher studies or get placed through an external source.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active and has brought many reputed companies like Nestle, DE Shaw and Wipro for the placement drive. Around 50-55% students of the college get placed every year. Students also get good internship opportunities.
Placements: The placement cell of IPCW is majorly focused on the Mathematics students with computers as an elective. It becomes difficult for students from maths and some other elective to grab a good placements. Major company for placement in Mathematics branch was Wipro.
Placements: Placements in Indraprastha College For Women are quite average, especially for our course. Placements for B.Com (Hons) and Eco (Hons)| have comparatively higher salary packages while considering the other courses. A very few students got internships from our college. We do have a placement cell in our college.
Placements: Placements in the college were average. It was limited to certain departments only. There is a placement cell in the college, and it is active, but the companies which visit the campus doesn't offer high CTCs. I cannot recollect the data but not many students were offered placements. One of the girls in the college got the highest salary package of 11 LPA.
Placements: Our placement cell is not good. As per my knowledge till yet we didn't had good placements and placement for B.A. programme students is not available. The efforts are also less. The most disappointing thing is the companies do not come to pick B.A. programme students. They think is less than other departments student.
Placements: We don't know much about the placement cell of our college. The cell is growing for the BA students slowly and gradually. But, the placement cell of our college is jeet which aims to provide girls with internship opportunities and placements. I don't know about the role offered or the highest package in our college.
Placements: I don't know much about the placement cell of our college. It provides the students with internships and placements. They are getting active for our department, that is BA programme students. We are added to the WhatsApp group and are sent messages regarding internship opportunities and placement drives. Interested students then apply there.
Placements: The placement cell is not active in our college. We are not informed of the ongoing placements and talks. Also, we have a drawback being a BA student for the placements. Also, the cell should conduct some sessions and workshops and bring equality for all the students, be it a BA program one or a Hons one.
Placements: We have a placement cell called JEET which means job entrepreneurship excellence and talent. Our placement cell provides the internship opportunities and placements. I personally got interned at the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development. Oberoi Group also came to our college for the pre-placement talk and recruitment drive.
Placements: At the time when I graduated, the placements were not much popular in our college with only a few brands visiting. However, the recent placement report for 2015-16 shows that companies like EY, Wipro, SAP, IBM, Aon Hewitt visited the campus and the average package was approximately 3 lacs per annum. As far as internships are concerned, most students applied for off-campus internships when I was in the college (2 years ago). However, now the internship trend too is on an upsurge at IP College. ...
Placements: Top recruiter was D. E. Shaw with a package of 18LPA. Average package was around 4.5 LPA. Most students want to pursue Masters after graduation so they don't sit for the placements. The majority of the students who sit for the placements get placed with decent enough remuneration.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many students get placements, although only for specific courses. Not all courses can get placed here. The college blacklist the students who are not regular to classes and skip the interview.
