It is an excellent engineering college in Odisha.

Placements: Our college provided good placements. Top recruiting companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. I suggest students take the IT branch because most jobs are in the IT sector.

Infrastructure: Our college provided excellent facilities and infrastructure. A library was available. Wi-Fi was accessible throughout the campus. Our classrooms were digital. The canteen was good. The hostel was good to study in. The quality of the food in the hostel was average.

Faculty: I chose the electrical engineering course to achieve great goals in life. Our teachers helped us a lot to accomplish those things. All teachers are supportive. They cleared our doubts in their free time. Exams are not challenging.

Review of SOA - Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University.

Placements: More than 95% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered this year is 45 LPA by Microsoft, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Not many internships are provided to core branches. Top companies that came here are Microsoft, Amazon, Delloite, Oracle, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and projectors, but no other facilities are present. Classrooms are old. Jio Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The mess food is not good. For the first month, they treat you well, but the food becomes bad after that. Medical facilities are provided because IMS and SUM Hospital comes under our university

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with degrees and knowledge, but lab assistants are not that professional. They are only aware of the lab activities. Some of them are knowledgeable, but 90% of them don't know much about the theory part. It is also relatively easy to avoid being debarred at the end of the semester by paying Rs. 2000 per subject and appearing to retest.

Other: Electrical engineering is a good course, but most students these days go for the software field.

Review of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University.

Placements: Many companies offer placements on campus. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, the lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package is 4 LPA to 8 LPA. Many companies offer analyst roles. Around 95% of students get placed in our college in IT-based companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available on campus. Classrooms are not well developed and equipped with air-conditioners. Library is the best part of our college and one of Asia's biggest libraries. Mess food is not good. Our college has a 5 floored library. Food court and indoor games are available.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very knowledgeable and guide students. The course curriculum is designed in a way that every student can understand and focus more on basics but students have to be interested and approach them. It is relevant and stipulated. Semester exams are very much relevant to whatever is taught in classes.

Other: Scholarships are offered but it may take 1 to 2 years to receive it. It is a ragging free campus.

It is a very good college with good campus.

Placements: Around 80-85% of students got placed on campus the previous year. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte and Capgemini. It is hard to find internships for core students in core companies but students can get internships in software companies.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious with smart boards. Labs are modern with all sorts of equipment and highly experienced lab staff who will guide throughout the semester. Hostel facilities are the best. The food served is the best in Odisha.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly experienced and qualified with great teaching experience. Semester exams are easy. Students have to learn the basic concepts to clear their exams. The pass percentage is 5 CGPA or grade E.

Other: I chose electrical engineering in this college as it is one of the main core branches in engineering and has very good labs. Scholarships are provided based on the 10th, 12th, and semester grade points of students to help them financially.

The campus has a great environment, and the overall placements are good.

Placements: The placement percentage is good. We faced covid pandemic at the time of our placements. We faced a lot of issues. Overall, the placements are good. Most of my friends got placed in companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. I think 70-80% of students got placed in campus placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not completely available. It is stable. Its speed is not that great. Hostels are good. The food is good. Sports facilities are not good. There are hardly any outdoor games to play on campus. Medical facilities are great.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. I don't know about other branches, but in our branch (electrical), teachers are very good. Exams are tough sometimes, but the way the teachers teach makes it easy to tackle problems. Overall, the process is smooth. The pass percentage is 95 to 98%.
