Jain University Review: A Student's Perspective.
Placements: Last year, 92% of the CSE students were placed in different companies. The highest package ever recorded was 42 LPA, the lowest was 1 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Futurense, TCS, and some Japanese companies. The college doesn't provide many internships; they only provide them for 20-30 students out of 1,200 students, and these internships are not paid and are at some random companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good, but the facilities are very poor. They do provide Wi-Fi in classes and around the corridors, but the number of labs in the college is very few; only 3 to 4 labs are available for the entire CSE department. They do have a good library, which is on two levels and contains good books and journals. The hostel provides Wi-Fi, laundry, hot water, etc., but the food is very bad. You will only get vegetarian food, and that too is very poor. Medical service is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The college has areas for football, cricket, tennis, and badminton.
Faculty: The faculty is the worst part of it, as none of them are qualified for this job except a few. They really don't know what to teach and how to teach. They don't have proper knowledge; they just copy and paste notes from ChatGPT and present them. The course curriculum is also very poor; it doesn't have much practical content. They mainly focus on theoretical aspects, and the college is not providing any practical knowledge. The exams are too easy; anyone who has knowledge of the subject and has gone through the notes can easily pass with good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I was really interested in cybersecurity, and it was the only college out of two that provides the course in South India. Cybersecurity is one of the futuristic jobs out there and has high demand. Everything should be improved, starting with subjects, faculty, practical labs, etc. The only fest the college has is called Infinity, which is held in the months of March or April for two days. The college has a very good football and cricket team for extracurricular activities.

Review of Jain University (Deemed-to-be-University).
Placements: The college has 100% placement records over the past couple of years. The university provides tons of internship opportunities from top companies. The highest package offered is 50 LPA which is amazing, and the average package is about 7 to 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities are good, to be honest. The classrooms are enabled with projectors and air-conditioners. We also have access to Wi-Fi within the campus, and the internet connection is fast. The mess and canteen food is average.
Faculty: In our university, all the lecturers hold a Ph.D (doctorate). All the teachers have good knowledge about their subjects, and they are really friendly with students. We get to write 2 to 3 internals before every semester exam, which really helps us to brush up the topics and gets us ready to face the externals.
Other: The fee is a bit expensive. We do get a scholarship from the university every year. Scholarships depend on the marks you get, and it may vary from student to student.
