Infrastructure and faculty members are very good.
Placements: There are many recruiting companies for our course. Almost 78% of the students got an internship from our course. The top role offered in our course is a production engineer in big companies. There are many recruiting companies like Nerolac, etc. The average salary offered in our course is Rs. 50,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our hostel mess is not that good, and there are no good washroom facilities. The hostel is very disappointing students. Medical facilities are available, so there is no problem. The main problem is with the hostel food, which is not good enough according to the fee which we paid.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the way of teaching is very helpful for students. Teachers are very friendly with students, but I think teachers must be strict in internal exams. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like this course, and it has many job opportunities. Campus life is pleasant.

Review of JCT College of Engineering.
Placements: There are placements, but hardly few get a job in core companies. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. IT companies like Polaris, Skava, and mostly Coimbatore and Chennai based companies will come for a drive. Internships are not provided by our college, but rather they give permission, so we have to search.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is good for learning, but the hostel is not up to the mark. Rooms are average, but food will not suit for all. They will 100% encourage your talent except for a few staff members. They need some improvement in the mess and have to maintain cleanliness. There is no first aid or emergency medicines, and we have to take care of ourselves.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good, but most of them are freshers. Even they don't know the exact syllabus for us. Somehow they manage and taught us the most relevant things to crack the exam. The petrochemical course is very relevant to the secondary processing of petroleum products. We will surely get a job if we learn properly.
Other: I have selected this course because it has chances of getting a job with a high salary. The college should provide more relevant practical labs and should ignore unwanted subjects. They conduct events and functions, but the drawback is cost allocation. They will not provide proper fund, and most of the time, they will collect from students.

Good in facilities and infrastructure
Placements: Not upto the hype they give us upon admission the placement training is very average that most of the things we learn at the placement training is almost useless when we go for an off campus placement drive so dont trust the sugar coated words of placement by the management
Infrastructure: No wifi inside the college though it is located in a place where we find network issue but the labs got all the equipment that doesn't event work but for a showcase item to canvas students at the period of admission one of the worst classroom i have even been
Faculty: No staff for some of the subject no proper arrangement for the faculties in the college they just give the notes and insisted us to study on our own means they just come to the class for just a sake but also there are some staffs they just dedicated on their work of teaching

It provides the worst facilities for the students.
Placements: I am a final year student pursuing B.E. in Petrochemical Engineering. Around 350-400 students in our department got placed. For our course, only 3-5 recruiting companies visit our campus for placements. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5-6.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like SPIC, Schlumberger, Petrofac, PPG, Asian Paints, Tagros, etc., visit our campus for placements. I have never heard about Schlumberger visited our campus for campus drive. Only 13% of the students got an internship in companies like ONGC, CPCL, Cetex Petrochemicals, etc. Overall our college placement cell is not at all useful, and campus drive was just a show-off to gain admission.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, the infrastructure of our course is a bit good. Lab facilities are good as compared to nearby colleges which offer a petrochemical course. Wi-Fi facility is provided just for show-off, and it is not available for the students. Classrooms are not much good but acceptable. When you visit the hostel, you will surely make an annoying face by looking at the restrooms, mess and rooms. It doesn't have worth facilities for our money, i.e., Rs. 60,000 per annum. Hostel facility was a waste of money. Instead of staying in the hostel, you can take a room outside campus or take a private hostel for a worth living. Food served is totally waste, and sometimes it makes you sick. Medical facilities are not good. Sports and games have bit importance to show-off the advertisements to students to impress them to the college.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality was too bad, and there are insufficient staffs members. All are postgraduates, but their teaching quality was not good at all. I would rate 2.5 out of 5 for their teaching. In our department, there are 10 staffs members, but only 2 are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it makes the students mug up the subject. Out of 300 students, only 20 members will become industry-ready. Finally, the whole course curriculum is a waste of money and lose our hope in our career.
Other: I have chosen this course for its industrial value and scope in future. The best thing about our course is it correlates the concept of chemical engineering, and we can learn something about chemical compositions. The course is valuable for rig jobs in gulf countries. I wish the college should improve the course by teaching more practical knowledge. It will make more percentage of students industry-ready. Events are conducted yearly for all departments and students can enjoy it. Campus surroundings are not much better, and it was a whole lie which will they show in their advertisements. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are not available in our college. They just say it for advertisement. I suggest you don't join our college. It will be a waste of money. The transportation facility is also quite complicated, and our college was situated around 25 kilometres from Coimbatore city. The travelling was hard and not comfortable.

I am dissatisfied. I don't suggest our college to any students as it is a waste of money.
Placements: Less than 10% of the students got placed in petrochemical engineering. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 25,000-12,000 per month. Companies like SPIC and Tanfac are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with roles like an assistant engineer and junior trainee. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Almost 40% of the students get an internship, but they all get through their recommendations but not through college. Overall, the placement records of our department are the worst.
Infrastructure: In the case of facilities in our college, we have Wi-Fi, library and labs but everything is for namesake. Lab equipment doesn't work properly. There are no projectors in classrooms and doesn't have good infrastructure. Never advertise our college as it has waste students life. The hostel is one of the worst as they don't clean washrooms, and food quality is the worst. No one can stay in the hostel for more than 1 year. Sports and games are not useful, and everything is waste.
Faculty: Teachers in our college never complete the syllabus. They don't have a clear thought about what students do. They don't even have the mood to take a class, and less number of students get qualified in exams. There are many students with more than 20 arrears. The course curriculum is less relevant to industry need. It needs to be updated a lot as none of the students is industry-ready. It is hard for students to get placed without any recommendations.
Other: I have chosen this course because to get placed in any refinery and built a successful career in the oil and natural gas field. Our college should provide campus, industrial exposure and research and development. There is no good organisation, and higher officials will steal money from funds. Only government scholarship will reach us. No funds are provided from the college to attend any events.
