Placements: The college has Placement cell which is working constantly to provide a variety of opportunities to suit the different needs of the students. The cell not only provides career opportunities but also brings the students opportunities for internship, fellowship and campus ambassadorship.
Placements: Placement for B.Com department is more. Then comes economic. Mathematics major students can also apply for these post but companies prefer B.Com students over mathematics students. Jesus and Mary College do provide one of the best companies like kpmg, Deloitte etc.
Placements: Most of the students, who sit for the placement have placed, and in good and renowned schools. The course has placement cell within it. Almost everyone I know in the past has got placed, after doing this course, even during the training period, some were paid.
Placements: The college has a placement cell for clearing out all the queries regarding internships and all. To the best of my knowledge the students in my college get very good placement at reputed companies. I don't know the exact details about the percentage of students getting internship from college but I have heard that most students get through it.
Placements: The college offers only graduate-level courses for students. Our college does not provide a lot of placements. It has a placement cell for students who are interested in work right after graduation. There are paid as well as an unpaid internship. Corporate companies visit our college from mid-year for placements. They offer a range of jobs with different salary package.
Placements: The placement cell in the college is very good, and good companies including the Big4 firms give opportunities to the students. The students receive a review from each company to know their area of interest and the package provided is also really good. The experiences that one gets through the different levels during placements expose them for the future.
Placements: As far as I know, not many people from my course attended placements, including myself. However, I did hear about a couple of students who got into great companies (big four) with packages of 1.5 lacs+ per annum. I'm sure had more students attended placements, they'd have been placed into good companies because our placement cell was very proactive.
Placements: Considering this was an undergraduate college offering limited courses, the placement drive was quite impressive. I was the president of my department and had insights about the preparations that the placement cell used to do. We had companies ranging from Ernst and Young to Google come to our campus. However, the selection criterion was something that was debatable and did not please everyone. However, the placement cell and the opportunities that JMC exposed us to was great. ...
Placements: Placements for BCom are majorly done by Big 3 audit firms, which is really good. A lot of good companies like Accenture and Zomato also come. What is lacking is the tier system, in which if you are selected for a firm that is in the low tier and then a really good package comes, you can still apply for it. This is not in JMC, though and no preparation for placements is there. Apart from audit, very less good firms come.
Placements: In my college, 50% of the students were placed, so I would say that keeping in the mind of Delhi University, JMC provides quite decent placement opportunities. The college placements are so good that nobody was disappointed with it. Talking of my batch, there were a lot of students but the good thing is that almost 80% of the batch got placed. Even I got placed in Deloitte with a CTC of rupees 4.5 lakhs and it was more than expected by me, hence I was really happy with my placement. ...
Placements: Since, most of the courses of our college are only of graduate level, JMC does not have a lot of placements. However, it has a placement cell for those interested in working right after graduation. The placement cell helps you in choosing the right job matching your portfolio and profile.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our course in good private and government colleges. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Teach for India, Akansha Foundation, Bharti Foundation, Educo India, etc. Many students got internships from our course. I got an internship in the 2nd year.
Placements: More than 600 students are placed in our course. The packages offered are good. Many top recruiting companies visit to hire students. Around 70% of students in our course got internships, including me. We took part in many competitions. Overall, it is a good experience for me.
Placements: Approximately 45% students are in my course and all are very intelligent except me. The highest package for my course is 4 to 6 Lacs and the lowest package is 2 to 3 Lacs. Top recruiting company is ARK. More than 25% students got internship in ARK company.
Placements: Our college has good placement team members. The average salary package offered here is around 3.75 LPA in most of the streams. A lot of companies like ICICI Bank, Accenture, NIIT, E&Y, etc., visit our college for placements. Many startups also visit our college for internships, which help students for industry preparedness.
Placements: Students with percentages 70-85% are placed in my course. I don't think that any company recruits students from our course. It's a pretty useless course, Philosophy. I also don't think that anybody get to do an internship from this particular course.
Placements: The placement cell constantly focuses on providing better internships for students. The placement cell sends relevant mails to all those who have registered with them. However at times the internship offers are not that exciting and are mainly focused on in-campus sales of the merchandise.
Placements: For B.A programme, a very high academic percentage is not needed to get placements like in Hons courses, but students who have only 45%-50% will not get placements. DU cannot compromise in maintaining its reputation, so students who may have an aggregate of between 60%-90% will get admission here.
Placements: About 60% of the students got placed, and the average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Kodak, Hero, LIC, etc., visit our college for placements. Every student got an internship from Shiksha. Com and many other portals. Every brilliant student got a stipend of around Rs. 10,000 to12,000 per month.
Placements: Placements of our seniors were very good. A lot of students got placed in big four companies and also in other top-notch financial companies. We haven't placed yet, so I don't know placements about our batch. However, the previous two batches had a successful placements programme.
