JMC is the best college for B.Com course.

Placements: About 45% of the students got placed in the previous year. Percentage of students got placed here is quite low, but it is good as compared to other colleges of DU. The highest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Wipro, ICICI Bank, EY and Brain visit our college for placements. Almost 90% of the students from our course got an internship in Oyster and some fresh startups. Roles offered to the students are dec...

Thing you should know before coming to JMC.

Placements: B.A. Programme is one of the largest department of the college. Unfortunately, not many students from the course can be seen going for placements. A lot of students do enroll for internships though. Well Established and reputed companies visit college throughout the year offering packages starting from 3 Lacs per annum and above.

A great college with an amazing crowd of people.

Placements: 30% of the students were placed from our course. , as generally the companies target students from commerce background. I think the lowest package was 15K and the highest was around 50K. Generally for sales executives, teachers and other social workers.

Jesus and Mary college is a good college, with good faculty, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Our college provides good placement and internship opportunities for students of JMC. The placement cell of the Commerce Department is very active. Many good companies come to JMC at the time of placements and a good number of students get placed and companies offer them good packages. It also provides good internship opportunities for the students and companies such as UdyamGyan also provide live project opportunities.

Our college provides education more than the course curriculum.

Placements: I studied B.A. programme in advertising and entrepreneurship, and I passed out in 2019. There is tough competition in our college when it comes to placements. Not everyone gets placed but the number of companies offering placements is good. Companies like Accenture, Concentrix, Deloitte and many more with them are the top recruiting companies of our college.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: There are no placements for our course, and they don't have many companies for B.A. programme students, even in the past we've not got any on-campus placements. We don't get any internships from our college for our course. I think they should find some companies to offer B.A. programme students a chance as well.

Overall experience was good, would recommend this college !

Placements: The companies visiting the college are top notch including Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, Wipro, EY, FIS Global, NIIT Ltd, Mc Kinsey and some more. Though the percentage of students being placed is less and ranging from 40-50% in the commerce department. The job profiles offered have variety but mostly limited to finance field.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA by McKinsey. Other companies like E&Y, Deloitte and KPMG also visited our campus for placements and recruited few students. Deloitte visited our campus only to recruit B.Com students. Placement opportunities are better for B.Com students.

This college is attractive and is worth your time.

Placements: I don't know about the placements much. But I saw various multinational and even domestic companies like Oberoi hotel and Grand Thornton offering internships to the students of 2nd and the first year. If students have any doubts regarding the placements, then they can check the website of JMC.

One of the best colleges which helps in the overall development of a student.

Placements: The college has an effective placement cell providing good placements to the students. Various companies and organisations visit our college for campus placements. As I have political science as my graduation subject, I have rarely heard seniors going for placements after graduation.

Best three years of my life.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active and works hard. Almost all the students of my batch got placed. Big companies like Ernst & Young and Accenture visit the college. The students would get good amount of mails starting from the second year for internships which was encouraging and offered a new route to us.

Best three years at Jesus & Mary College.

Placements: There were ample opportunities for full-time placements with major corporate giants such as KPMG, EY, Deloitte, etc. The salaries vary as per the company, but given our qualifications, it was reasonable at that time. The placement cell did a good job with getting the corporates on board and ensuring a smooth interview process in the campus. The only scope of improvement could be organizing summer internships or part-time jobs since these are the crucial years to add value to one's resume. Please...
