Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

Detailed review of JNTU, Hyderabad.
Placements: Most of the students get good placement here in JNTUH. The placement percentage is 80%, and the highest placement is 43 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, TCS, and Google. Most of the 60% of the people are eligible for the internship, and most are from the computer science department.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not up to the mark here in the JNTUH, as it's a government-run college. Labs and classrooms are good, but there is no proper hostel facility and no proper food for the students in the hostel, and the games, sports, and extracurriculars are good with a high selection rate.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very friendly and is well qualified for every department. They teach very well and encourage us to ask questions, and they clarify them very well. Mid exams seem to be easy while writing, but semester examinations are pretty hard and require much knowledge and practice.
Other: I chose this course because of the high demand in the future for the computer science background. The course itself is well designed and doesn't need many changes, but changes are needed in the regulations, like the average of the mid exams, which should be removed, and it should follow the old way of the highest marks in minds. Events are pretty common and quite well. College provides scholarships for general EWS, OBS, and SC/ST (full fee refund).

My review about my college.
Placements: In our college, around 70-80 percent of the students get placed in different companies. The highest package is 52 Lacs per annum. The average package is around 6-7 Lacs per annum. The lowest package is around 3.5-5 Lacs per annum. The companies recruiting from our college are Amazon, Cognizant, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Flipkart, and many others. My branch, Cybersecurity Architect and Information Security Analyst, are some of the top roles offered in my field. Most of the students in our batch get internships, usually starting from the second year onwards.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in our college are good. The classrooms are neat and well-maintained, providing a good place to learn many things. The labs in the college are useful and increase our practical knowledge. The teachers in the college and labs are supportive and encouraging. Wi-Fi speed in the college and hostel is also good, but sometimes it is poor, possibly due to technical issues. The library is the place where we can find many useful books that provide us with a huge amount of knowledge. In the hostel, they provide us with many facilities like Wi-Fi, beds, tables, chairs, and electrical facilities like fans and light switches. The facilities like washrooms in the hostel are good, but the maintenance of the washrooms in the college is too bad. Even the electrical appliances are poor in some rooms. The quality of food in the college is good. In the canteen, it's somewhat good, but in the hostel, sometimes it's not good. Medical facilities are good in the college. There is a hospital inside the college that can handle any health issue easily. Sports are well encouraged in our college. The college ground is good and is mostly used for playing cricket, football, kabaddi, and volleyball as well. There is an indoor stadium for badminton, table tennis, and a gym is also available.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are qualified and help us in many ways. They provide us with a huge amount of knowledge and support that we need. The teachers provide us with the knowledge and practical experience that we require in the college. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. The practical knowledge that we gain in the college helps us in our job development in the future. They also provide us with internships to provide real-project time knowledge. The semester exams are quite difficult; sometimes it depends on the student’s knowledge in the subjects.

All about my college jntuh-ucesth.
Placements: In the previous year, 1100 out of 1220 students passed. The pass rate has been steadily rising annually. The average package was 6.24 Lacs. Approximately 24 Lacs is the highest package. The lowest was 1 Lacs. Microsoft and Oracle, two of the top recruiting companies, offered my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and amenities were excellent. There is a projector in the classroom, a separate cybersecurity lab for research purposes, and a library with a large collection of books and journals. The food in the dorms on campus is mediocre. The games and sports were pretty good.
Faculty: The instructors for this course are highly skilled and knowledgeable; the majority of them hold doctorates. This course will be more useful in the future. The difficulty level of the semester is moderate; the pass percentage is 35. There are two semester exams every year, with each semester lasting six months.
Other: Because I am interested in cybersecurity and want to work as an ethical hacker, this course has given me a better chance to achieve my goals. There is only one fest each year, and there are no better events at the colleges than at other colleges.

Overall good. I strongly recommend this as the best college.
Placements: JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad) boasts strong placement records, with top tech companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture frequently recruiting students. It also sees participation from startups, multinational corporations, and core industries. The university's dedicated placement cell provides training, mock interviews, and industry interactions to help students secure positions across various domains, including software, hardware, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Krishna Hostel at JNTUH offers excellent facilities for students, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for academic growth. The hostel is well-equipped with spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, high-speed internet, and 24/7 security. It also offers nutritious meals, recreational areas, and ample study space, ensuring a balanced lifestyle for students. With its proximity to the campus and supportive staff, Krishna Hostel provides a great living experience for those pursuing their education at JNTUH.
Faculty: The semester exams at JNTUH are conducted with a well-structured approach, ensuring fairness and transparency. The examination process is streamlined, providing students with clear guidelines and ample preparation time. The college is quite good compared to other EAMCET colleges.
Placements: As I am a first-year student, I don't know much about placements, but according to our seniors, they say that last year the highest package was around 50 LPA, and the average was around 10 lakhs per annum. The lowest package was 3 lakhs per annum, and the highlight of the placements was 10 to 15 students getting 19 lakhs per annum. As a government college with limited seat intake, there isn't much competition, and even core branches get placed easily here. Big companies like Amazon and Google don't come here, but the top recruiting company here is probably TCL.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. There are two libraries: one university library, and Wi-Fi is available in all buildings. The labs are although well-maintained, but the equipment in some labs is not in working condition. There is a pharmacy in the college which does health checkups if needed. Medicines are available and give immediate first aid treatment.
Faculty: I wouldn't say the teachers are the best. There are some faculty who teach well, but there are some who don't, and the college is hiring guest faculty, and most of our classes are taken by them. I don't think the curriculum prepares us for the real world. We just study for the sake of passing the exams. The exams in the college are not that difficult, and the pass percentage is quite good. Almost all of the students from my course pass the internals and midterm exams.
Other: The campus is beautiful, and we have so much freedom in our college. Just watch out for 75 percent attendance, and you can enjoy your college life to the fullest. The food in the canteen is great and affordable. We have an open gate in our college, so there are very few restrictions.

* The course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready. (Source: Reviews 21, 36, 49)
* Some subjects in the course need to be updated to make students more practical than theoretical. (Source: Review 54)
* The faculty suggests that students rely on external resources, such as YouTube, to supplement their learning. (Source: Review 46)

Practical Knowledge

* The course focuses on theoretical knowledge, leaving students without practical exposure. (Source: Review 2
* The lack of application knowledge and site visits makes students feel unprepared for the industry. (Source: Review 3

Industry Relevance

* The course curriculum is designed to meet industry standards, providing students with relevant skills. (Source: Review 42)
* Students are encouraged to participate in industrial projects and training programs to gain hands-on experience. (Not mentioned in reviews)
