Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

Overall, a good college for both placement and academic wise.
Placements: In my IT department, the placements percentage was around 70. The highest package is around 7LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. Our placement cell is very active and last year around 20 companies visited our campus. The top positions offered were system developer, software engineer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the facilities like a separate building for each department, Wi-Fi facilities throughout the campus, well-equipped labs, and good classrooms with attached projectors. The hostel facilities are also provided for students. Our college has also multiple sports grounds, an indoor stadium with more than 2000 seating capacity, gyms, and health care centres.
Faculty: The staffs and assistant lab faculty members are also very helpful to the students. The course curriculum is designed by our college only according to industrial needs as it's an autonomous college. The semester exams are tough and can be only passed if we study throughout the year. The pass percentage is approximately 70.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: Around 70% to 80% of students are placed. In the previous year, around 500 offers came from more than 20 companies, with the major recruiters being TCS and Infosys. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top role offered is a software developer.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi facilities and well-furnished classrooms. The library is very well maintained and stacked. The hostel facilities are good. The mess food in the hostel is good and hygienic. There is a health center for students.
Faculty: Our teachers are friendly, supportive, and helpful. The course curriculum is very related to practical application, as our college is autonomous. Semester exams are difficult and can be passed only by studying throughout the year. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose the IT department because of my interest in the IT industry.

It is a good engineering college in the Madurai area.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Zoho, Infosys, HCL, and TCS. The top roles offered are software developer and software tester.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well furnished and maintained very well. Every classroom has a projector for smart learning. Our campus is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are also very good. The food quality is better.
Faculty: Faculty members are very kind and helpful. Most of them are doctorates. It is an autonomous college so the course curriculum is prepared according to industrial needs. Semester exams are tough and the pass percentage is around 60%.

Infrastructure: Our campus has full of greenery and is fully Wi-Fi enabled. It has many facilities like a library in every department, an ambulance available 24X7 in case of emergency, a health center, canteen, cricket ground, a very big indoor stadium, a gym, etc.
