I suggest you do not join this college.
Placements: I have never seen a company conducting an interview. The salary package is not offered. I suggest you do not expect an internship from this college because you have to do an internship on your own, or else you will fail.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility but without internet.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, but the management will not allow them to do. You need to study if you need to pass the semester. To clear the engineering, you have to take your own risks here. Our faculty members are super talented, but they don't know how to teach.

Neither good nor too bad. Finally, it is all up to you.
Placements: There are no placements. No company visits for the placements. Some companies like Alpha 9 visit the campus for merchant navy that too it is not the perfect placement. It is not good for the placements. I have nothing much to say about the placements. It also depends on the talent of the candidate.
Infrastructure: It is quite OK, but not well planned. It is like they just built some buildings to attract people especially to attract the parents who visit for admissions for their children. They have different boys hostel and girls hostel inside the campus only. The hostel food is quite good. A friendly people is provided.
Faculty: As it is approved by VTU, the course is as per VTU, but when it comes to the faculty, their knowledge is quite poor. No faculty has a deep knowledge of their subjects. But for the mechanical branch, the faculty is friendly. But with no knowledge.

Course Curriculum Structuring for B.E./B.Tech at KNS Institute of Technology

The course curriculum at KNS Institute of Technology for B.E./B.Tech programs is structured to cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the respective fields. Here's what our research reveals:

* IT Industry Relevance: While some faculty members mentioned that the course curriculum is not directly related to the IT industry, others stated that the curriculum is designed to make students ready for industrial demands.

Here are the specifics for each program:

# CSE (Computer Science Engineering)

* The curriculum covers topics such as programming languages, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, software engineering, and database management systems.
* Faculty members emphasized the importance of focusing on theory, while others highlighted the need to balance theory with practical applications.

# ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

* The curriculum includes subjects like digital logic design, microprocessors, electronic circuits, analog communication systems, and microwave engineering.
* Students reported that the faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful, making the learning experience positive.

# CVE (Civil Engineering)

* The curriculum covers topics such as mechanics of solids, structural analysis, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, and construction technology.
* Although details regarding the curriculum structure were scarce, students praised the faculty members' dedication to teaching and supporting students.

# Mechanical Engineering

* The curriculum includes subjects like mechanical measurements, thermodynamics, machine design, and manufacturing processes.
* Similar to other departments, students appreciated the faculty members' expertise and willingness to guide them.

# ISE (Industrial Engineering)

* The curriculum covers topics such as operations research, production planning, supply chain management, and human factors engineering.
* Unfortunately, limited information was available regarding the course curriculum structure for ISE.

Overall, the course curriculum at KNS Institute of Technology aims to equip students with a strong foundation in their respective fields, preparing them for future challenges and opportunities. However, some areas require improvement, particularly in balancing theory with practice and ensuring relevance to the IT industry.
