Our college is very good for technical skills.

Placements: Minimum percentage of students got placed in our on-going course. The salary offered differs from student to student, but the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Direct recruitment is not held here. This time our course is very good and very useful in industries and most importantly at the power station.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Classrooms, library and labs are clean, and updated instruments are available. The college does not provide Wi-Fi, and the hostel is also not available. Medical facilities are also not available here.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, and they have knowledge. The course curriculum is much relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are a bit tough, and the passing percentage is almost 90%. All students are very hardworking, and teachers always stand for students.

Kolaghat Government Polytechnic college is best for study but not for a sequred job.

Placements: At this college, there is no placement or campus. Some of my classmates are employed by the Sigma company. This college was established just a few years ago. So, just two trades are available at this college.

Infrastructure: There are only two streams available here: Electrical Power System and Electrical Engineering Industrial Control. six classrooms are open for students, and there is one library and a small playground available. Wi-Fi is available but not for students. Hostels are not available. The Canteen has recently opened.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified and knowledgeable. Here teachers try their best to make students industry ready, but all teachers are not the same. Semester exam is too easy for good students and exam is too hard for bad students. Almost 90% of students have passed the exam.

Other: Kolaghat power plant is nearby the kolaghat Government Polytechnic college, hence I'm interested in this course.
