Average faculty, not so good infrastructure, and no proper networking within students.
Placements: Currently, the placements are still in motion, and around 80% of students from all B.Tech branches are placed. The highest package went for 52 LPA at DeShaw, and the lowest was around 3.2 LPA at multiple companies. Mass recruiters like TCS, Accenture, and Infosys also participated in the drive, and around 300 students were placed in these altogether. Talking about internships, students try to get off-campus internships as not many companies participate in the internship drive at the college. The top roles were, of course, SDE and Application Development. Other than that, many companies also hire for database-related roles.
Infrastructure: The academic facilities include decent classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a library with an extensive collection of books, journals, and e-resources. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, ensuring seamless internet access. The hostel is only for boys, but a private female hostel is just around the corner. The on-campus hostel mess serves only vegetarian food with decent taste but good hygienic practices.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but they lack proper teaching sense. I know every student learns differently, but according to me, the faculty is decent only. The curriculum was changed when I joined the college in 2021, and it is now being changed again to meet modern standards. During my time at college, I was learning Full Stack Development in my 6th semester. The subjects were pretty outdated, e.g., PHP was taught at this time when much better languages are now used. Talking about exams, the internal exams are pretty easy, but the externals are somewhat between medium to hard.
Other: I chose CSE at this college because, in the year 2020 and 2021 as well, the placements of CSE students were pretty high, and companies like Amazon participated in the drive and recruited around 10 students at a package of 50 LPA. But now, I think the college placements went downhill because of the recession and are still not recovering from it. And I don't know if there is something to talk about fests or events because they are close to nil. And if something happens, it’s just too bland to even attend it. The same stands repeat each year.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, placements are average, infrastructure is bad.
Placements: The placement is good for teach-related branches; almost all students get placed, including off-campus, with an average of 6-7 LPA in 2024. But I would not recommend it for core branches as no companies visit for core branches. One of the best things about the college is its percent attendance policy.
Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure of the college is not up to mark. With 8 acres of campus, no Wi-Fi, although labs have all the equipment. Classrooms are like * but the college has a zero percent attendance policy, so you get the time to develop your skills.
Faculty: Most of the professors in the college are good and understanding, with well-educated staff. Exams are leniently checked. The course curriculum is outdated, but you get extra time to develop your skills, and there are many societies related to teaching. Semester exams are easy and easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because of the high demand for teaching in the upcoming industry, and the college is very lenient with attendance. The events are not top-notch, connectivity is good as it is located in Delhi, but the surrounding area is bad. No scholarships are provided.

MAIT Review by ITE 2022-2026 Batch student!
Placements: In my course last year, almost 40 students were placed out of 60. Last year, the highest package offered was 30 LPA. But in our college on campus, the highest was 40 LPA; off campus, it was 95 LPA by Goldman Sachs. Companies like Amazon Dublin, Adobe, Honor AI, ZS Associates, etc. hired students last year. Generally, students get internships at startup-based companies.
Infrastructure: First of all, our college has a very small campus but is well designed. We have a huge library where students can study, or you can find most of the books in ours. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi on our campus, which is really disappointing for students. We have a small football field, and we have multiple canteens where you can refresh. You can find PGs near colleges, where most students live.
Faculty: We have well-qualified professors, mostly with doctorate degrees, but I would not say they are knowledgeable. The course is designed in such a way that you will be industry-ready. We have two exams in each semester; one is the midterm college-level exam. And the second is the end-term examination, which is the university-level exam. Both are easy to pass because of lenient checking.

Amazing college with wonderful environment and good placements despite recession.
Placements: The overall placement of the college is good. The highest package off-campus goes as high as 1 crore+. This depends on the student, but the students are capable; if the institute offers more support, these figures will improve significantly. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA-10 LPA. The majority of recruiting companies were mass recruiters, like ZS Associates, which offered a salary package of 13.6 LPA, while other companies offered packages in a similar range.
Infrastructure: MAIT has a decent campus with decent facilities. Labs are not up to the best mark but work okay; there is definitely a need to improve them. The library is well-stocked with the latest journals, magazines, and books, and there is a book bank facility available for a refundable deposit of 5,000 rupees, allowing access to curriculum books. The college canteen offers a wide range of items, including juice corners, an Amul tea/coffee shop, a café, and an ice cream parlor.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful with academics and often assist students outside the classroom as well. Most teachers have a strong grasp of their subjects and are available for doubt-clearing beyond college hours. The curriculum of IP is moderate, not very hard, not very easy. If you study one week before the exam, you can score well. The course is not enough for the industry, but it covers all the basic languages. The passing mark is 40 out of 100, including internal marks.
Other: The college has dozens of societies and clubs. That fastens strong networks and connections between students, as well as opportunities to learn new skills and gain exposure to the industry through hackathons, inter-college events, and more. The college also hosts an annual tech fest and cultural fest, where artists like Raftaar have performed.

It has a happy and satisfied college life.
Placements: Mostly, students who are seriously doing their work get placed on campus. The highest salary package offered for the last batch was 52 LPA by DE Shaw company. The average salary package offered ranges from 9-10 LPA. Many mass recruiting companies visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: I am very satisfied with the college's infrastructure as it provides facilities like Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, a laboratory, a very big library, etc. Recently a new block has been made with facilities like LAN, Wi-Fi, and cushioned seats, which gives a luxurious look. It also has a hygienic canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and highly educated. They also give extra time to students to clear their doubts. The college also has very good management in taking mid-semester exams and also viva which is really very helpful for students in their end-semester exams.
Other: From my early stages in school, I was attracted to technology and computer-related subjects, so I thought to pursue a career in computer science and engineering course.

MAIT - Your last option to make it.
Placements: There are a lot of companies who visit the campus but they don't hire as many students. A big company named DE Shaw came to this college and recruited only 1 student out of 150. It provided a salary package of more than 50 LPA. This is the harsh placement scenario in our college. The mass recruitment is done but no one wants that.
Infrastructure: There is no good infrastructure. We have a very small campus area. The hostel mess food is great. The hostel is very expensive to afford here. You have to look out for a PG or a flat outside because it is not worth the money. This college is also not great.
Faculty: Mostly teachers or professors here don't wish to teach and come only because of their jobs. They don't have that charisma or great teaching skills. Students also lack the winner motivation to study. Our department is the worst at giving internal marks. They give good marks to the management students or teachers pet.
Other: This year, the fest was great and Raftaar came to our campus. I was on the fest organizing team. The experience was good. Choose this college when you have nowhere else to go to. Keep this as your last option.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology offers better placements than Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. Some reviews on our site indicate a higher average package and a more relaxed atmosphere at MAIT, while MSIT might have a stronger reputation for overall placement success rate.
