I am dissatisfied because of poor placements in core companies.

Placements: I had a pathetic experience at MAIT. There were no campus placements in core companies this year. However, students were allowed for some IT companies and mass recruiters like Infosys and Accenture. On the other hand, some sales profile and warehouse operative jobs were also offered to the students.

It is a below-average college as there are no fests organised and almost no interactions.

Placements: Very few students get placed from the college with decent salary packages. Remaining students get an average salary package of about 3.6 LPA. Most of the students get placed in information technology (IT) department in companies like TCS, Infosys, ZS, etc. College doesn't provide any on-campus internship neither they bring the company to campus.

I am dissatisfied because of college faculty.

Placements: Almost 10% of the students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruited companies were Infosys, Cognizant, etc. No student got an internship at our college. The average salary package offered was approximately 3 LPA. Top roles offered were a sales manager, etc. There was an inferior placement cell in the college.

It is not worth taking admission here. I would suggest you put efforts and go for a good college.

Placements: As far as the core companies are concerned, placements opportunities offered to the students of mechanical and automation engineering (MAE) department are low. However, as many students opt for companies related to IT and management domains, placements for those departments are quite good. Not even a single company related to the mechanical field is visiting our college for placements.

This is a place where you cannot get opportunities and value for your knowledge.

Placements: The placements in MAIT weren't good because core mechanical companies don't visit our campus for placements. Only less than 10% of the students got placed in core companies. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. GET roles were offered by the companies to the placed students. Companies don't visit our campus for internships.

The college is not at all good if you want to gain academic knowledge.

Placements: Our college was ranked 2nd in IPU colleges, but there was nothing much in the college. The placement package is good, but the ratio is terrible. In a batch, hardly 20 to 30 students will get placed, and the others will be thrown out. The placement division plays no role in helping the students to get placed in the companies. In our brochures, it is mentioned the placements are about 90%, but it is not true. Every year, only 2-3 companies visit the college for the placements, and they are also ma...

Not so happy with my decision to go for MAIT.

Placements: Placement opportunities are available if you have decent grades like I had 65 percent and could manage selection in Accenture, Infosys and Mu Sigma. One thing to note is that Infy & Acc. Are mass recruiters like they take 400+ students. Package from these remains the same at roughly 22k/month (3.25lpa CTC) for Associate Software Engineer profile. Other companies like ZS associates offered Business Technology Analyst with around 35-40k in hand per month. During my time, around 90% was placed with...

Dissatisfied because of infrastructure, college life.

Placements: The placements till the year 2016, were pretty great. The college is renowned for getting students placed. At least 80-85% students get on campus placements ( till the year 2016) with an average package of 3.25 lacs per annum. But in 2017, the placement percentage is 70%.

Below average. Nothing much to say about this college. It is just famous because of high cutoffs.

Placements: The placements here are fine, not too good. Mostly, IT companies recruit the students from the campus. There is no extra effort from the college side to call the companies. The training and placement department is not much active. Only the computer science and IT students get placed with an average salary package of 3.5 LPA. A few other branch students also find jobs in IT companies.

Dissatisfied with the placements

Placements: Placements provided by the college are very bad. The placement cell people are not considerate about students, rather, they are just concerned with calling pathetic companies who offer a package of 1.8 lacs to MBA graduates and nothing else. They don't know the profiles the companies are coming for. They provide students with incomplete information about the companies and job profiles and all that because of the pathetic placement cell head.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: Pathetic placement cell, pathetic placement head. She doesn't know what she's doing, nor she has any idea about the positions the company has come for. She's rude, arrogant, ruthless and the companies she calls either come for 2.5 lacs-3 lacs packages or fire the candidates within one month of hiring and she doesn't take any responsibility for that. No live projects are provided. The placement cell really needs to get restructured.

June 2012, I graduated from MAIT. College life was finally over, The only problem was that I had hardly lived the college life because there was nothing to live MAIT a supposedly engineering college is nothing more than an institution run by 50 odd trustees who had to invest their money somewhere in order to save tax. College, and especially engineering college, is place where life matures. Boys become men, and focus and responsibility becomes the way of life. None of these were inculcated int...

Dissatisfied with the course and syllabus .

Placements: Only top stream students are placed with both the highest package and the lowest package being quite low. Not much companies take place in recruitment drive. The college is not helpful in providing the internship with little guidance or guidelines. Students have to do everything on there own.

There are average placements, infrastructure, outdated curriculum, and no facilities.

Placements: Almost 50% of students were placed. The lowest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. ION Trading, Tech Mahindra, ZS Associates, are the top recruiters. Roles of client support, decision analyst associate, business technology associate, business operation associate, are offered. Only 10% of the students got internships from our course.
