An underrated college which is improving day by day.
Placements: This year, SAKEC's placement drive was good, with students getting placed in companies like Flipkart and Accenture at 34 LPA. The average placement was around 5.5 LPA, and about 80% of students were placed. While placements are unpredictable these days, the college is working hard to bring in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but some classrooms need renovation. The labs are good, but the smart boards don't work properly. Some classrooms have minimal ventilation, which makes them uncomfortably warm. The canteen is good, and the food is nice. The medical facilities are convenient. We have a gymkhana with indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess, as well as a gym for those who want to work out. Wifi is available throughout the campus, and while it's not very fast, it's good enough for work.
Faculty: The faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable, and you will never be bored in class. Some teachers are strict, but that is for your own good. Our college recently became autonomous and made some changes in the syllabus that I found very helpful. They are now focusing more on practical knowledge, which will be helpful for the future if you plan to work in industry. Exams are moderate, and their difficulty depends on how well you study.
Other: There are many events held at this college, which are a lot of fun. We have annual sports and a tech fest. These events are a great stress buster. For music enthusiasts, we have our own band. We also have numerous clubs that you can join and work with.

    Overall decent college.
Placements: The roles offered by Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (IT Department) are software engineer, full stack developer, front-end, back-end developer, and many more, depending on your skills. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest can go up to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities provided by the college. Every department has its own labs. The library is air-conditioned, where you can sit and study peacefully, and there is a good variety of books. There is a canteen, and the food quality is quite good and tasty.
Faculty: The faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. Every classroom has whiteboards as well as projectors, and most faculty members teach with the help of projectors. The course curriculum is moderately hard. We can say that it somewhat makes us industry-ready.

Underrated college because of the campus, but has good academics and faculty.
Placements: This college has average placements, not too good, but good enough for a college in Mumbai. The average package offered is 4.5 LPA, the highest is around 8 LPA and the lowest package offered is like 2.5 LPA. Most of the students who get placed are from software branches. Companies do approach for placements but you need to do a good job at getting selected, or else they won’t recruit anyone.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a library. The infrastructure includes a 7 floored huge building along with a library, gym, indoor sports room, canteen, etc. Wi-Fi is available in the college but too many students use it which is why only LAN works properly. Quality of food in the canteen is average.
Faculty: The college faculty is good, they will help you when you ask for help. Some of them are properly qualified while the others do not have that much experience. It followed Mumbai University’s syllabus but now it will be autonomous so the required subjects and topics will be introduced in the syllabus. It won't actually make you industry ready, only internships and projects can help. The semester exams are medium hard. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering because I had a little interested in it. Plus, it has good placement opportunities. It follows old fashioned way of education which really needs to be improved. The college hosts a cultural event every year and many tech events too. The campus crowd is good and interactive, and scholarships can be availed from mahadbt. It doesn't support extra curricular activities much.

Shah and anchors review as engineering student.
Placements: The college starts its internship opportunities from the second year and training for placements from the 7th semester. The minimum CGPA required is 6.5 for average placement, and generally, there should be no backlogs. Various companies like Infosys, Jio, TCS, ICICI, Accenture, MakeMyTrip, etc., visit the campus and recruit students based on their eligibility.
Infrastructure: Best quality equipment, like PCs and computers, and furniture are provided in fully air-conditioned labs. Each floor has spacious washrooms that are cleaned twice a day to maintain hygiene. The Gymkhana includes games like carrom, chess, and table tennis, as well as a very good and less crowded gym with a trainer.
Faculty: As the college gained autonomous status, courses and subjects improved significantly. They removed modules that are difficult and not used in real-world scenarios. Although the duration of a single lecture is 1 hour, it should be reduced to 40 minutes, as it becomes difficult to focus constantly for an hour.
Other: Students can participate as volunteers, and various posts in Pratishta, including arts, sports, console games, and indoor games competitions, are held during this fest. In addition, events like Branch Day, Tie and Saree Day, and Traditional Day are also included. The students enjoy this period of the college year a lot. Various paid games are available all over the college.

Really satisfied which such a NAAC A grade college with well maintained infrastructure.
Placements: This year, as it was batch of Corona, the percentage of students placed are 60–70%. Companies like infosys, jio, tcs, make my Trip, etc. Such renowned companies do visit our campus for recruitment. majority of students are offered IT-based roles. There are various internship opportunities provided by the college via official mails the internships include both internal and external (industry- and company-based). .
Infrastructure: Well-maintained infrastructure although the college doesn't have its own private grounds, which makes the campus short, the labs and equipments are well maintained and up-to-date. The washrooms are available on each floor, which are cleaned twice a day, making it comfortable for students to use the air-conditioned library, which is filled with various books.
Faculty: As the college gained autonomy status from now on, that is, from this year, the exams will be held in a 40+60 scheme, in which 40 marks will be internal and the remaining 60 marks will be theory-end semester-based. Marks for attendance and lab work will also be counted.
Other: The college has a gym, girls common room, carrom, chess, table tennis, and many more such curriculum activities to refresh your mind from stress. The college also provides a psychologist whom we can meet via appointment. There are mentors assigned to each group of students who guide them properly.

It has average infrastructure and facilities, along with average placements. Gujarat minority College
Placements: Approximately 50% of students are placed based on their performance but receive a very basic salary. The highest was around 8 Lacs, the lowest being 3, with an average of 5 Lacs. Companies do visit for placements but often leave empty-handed because they do not find skilled students. They also assist with internships at some point.
Infrastructure: The college has no hostel but offers basic facilities like a canteen, gym, indoor sports area, library, auditorium, and seminar halls. The classrooms are not air-conditioned, though some labs are, and newer labs have good computers, while older ones are not as up-to-date. The canteen food quality is also average.
Faculty: Half of the teachers are very supportive and good, while the rest are not as effective. There are knowledgeable teachers available, though you need to approach them. Internships along with the course help make students industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult, but manageable with a passing grade of 40%.
Other: I chose this college because my score was average and it offered a software course. The teaching methods could be improved, which might change now that the college is autonomous. The college organizes a lot of industrial visits and yearly fests. Students have the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities and participate in events. They can also opt for government scholarships. It is located in a busy area approximately 1.2 km from Govandi railway station. The college has a small campus, which is why some people do not choose it, but it offers a good enough course compared to other colleges with similar average placements. Regarding companies, many visit the college, but students often do not get selected due to their lack of skills.
