Our college is one of the best in Delhi University.
Placements: The placements in our college are impressive. Companies like PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, and Aditya Birla come to our college and the highest package this year was 20 Lacs per annum and the average package ranges between 6-8 Lacs per annum. There are also many internships available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing and one of the best. We have labs for our tally practical and the computers work well. The hostel is nice but I would say it's not affordable as compared to the course. The total fee is 180000 but the food and hygiene are pretty good.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and nice. They are very friendly. The course curriculum is relevant but there are many things that are things of the past now, so they should improve on that. The semester exams are moderate; they are not too hard to pass but you have to study very hard if you want a very good CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because it has scope in the field of banking and commerce. I wish our teachers could take more case studies while teaching.

Maitreyi helps in so many aspects of my life, and I'm truly grateful for the college.
Placements: A total of 77 students secured full-time positions with top companies such as EY, Deloitte, and DE Shaw, which offered the highest package of 23.5 LPA. The average package for the course was 5.7 LPA. On the internship front, 196 students were selected for various roles, with the highest stipend reaching 50,000. Companies like Still Thank and Zielhoch were among the top recruiters. The roles offered range from wealth management and project management to digital marketing and brand specialization, showcasing a diverse array of opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: Maitreyi College offers modern infrastructure for students, including well-equipped classrooms, Wi-Fi, and specialized labs for various departments. The college has a comprehensive library with a vast collection of resources. Hostel facilities provide comfortable accommodation with quality food in the mess and canteen, medical support, and a focus on sports and games for holistic development.
Faculty: The teachers at Maitreyi College are known for being helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, providing quality education. The teaching quality is commendable, with a strong focus on conceptual understanding and practical application. The course curriculum is well structured and industry-relevant, preparing students for professional challenges. Semester exams are moderately challenging, encouraging thorough preparation. Great campus with good teachers.
Placements: Most students who sit for placements are successfully recruited. There are excellent placement drives throughout the year, offering multiple opportunities upon graduation. The highest package is more than 22 LPA, while the lowest ranges from 1 to 2 LPA. Top recruiters include the Big Four, DE Shaw, Nestlé, Airtel, Zomato, Xalts, WTW, and Crowe.
Infrastructure: The campus is spacious and accessible, with good provisions for special needs. The overall infrastructure is average, featuring a great canteen, but the Wi-Fi service is poor. Medical facilities and sports initiatives are satisfactory. All courses have labs with functional systems, although some classrooms are old and not well-maintained. Overall, it’s acceptable.
Faculty: There is a good number of teachers, and hiring is regular. However, the curriculum from the university is often unreliable due to frequent changes and significant variations. Industry readiness among students is low. Semester exams have a reasonable level of difficulty, and the passing percentage aligns with the overall standards of Delhi University.

My college experience in Maitreyi .
Placements: The Maitreyi placement cell is very active. Recently, a girl from Maitreyi got a package of 20 lacs. Maitreyi works to much to improve their placement. Students get good placement opportunities and any good and reputable company comes for the interview and offers a high salary .
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi facilities provided in the college and the quality of food in the canteen is good. They also take proper care of their health and hygiene. Hostel facilities are also too good and a variety of food is offered by the hostel to the students. There are proper facilities for books in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable and qualified, and they all have a good teaching style and are all experienced teachers. Semester exams are quite easy because teachers teach in such a manner that exams are not so difficult and the overall pass percentage in the college is high .
Other: I chose B.Com. Honors because this course provides practical knowledge and a variety of subjects for improving skills. Rhapsody is the annual fest of the Maitreyi, which is very good.

Satisfied with B.Com (Hons) at Maitreyi College! Amazing college life and exciting events.
Placements: Students from the commerce department as well as the economics department get placed in our college. Only some students opt for a job after their undergrad, most students go for higher studies. Around 30-40 percent students can expect a placement in B.Com (Hons) course. Our placement cell is one of the best among all DU colleges.
Infrastructure: There is a good library, typical red coloured DU buildings, well-equipped computer labs, huge amphitheatre, 3 auditoriums, spacious canteen, Huge sports ground, basketball court, huge lecture halls. Overall the infrastructure is decent as per government standards. The canteen is also decent enough.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing! All the teachers in Maitreyi college take their jobs seriously and are well trained in their particular subjects and very knowledgeable. B.Com (Hons) makes the students industry ready provided you actually indulge in internships and gather practical knowledge. The exams are not very difficult to pass. If one is aware of the syllabus and has grasped the concepts, passing DU exams is not a big task.
Other: Do opt for different societies in the college. They shape your personality.
