Overview: Maitreyi College.

Placements: Economics Hons students get the most placements in our college as it is one of the demanded courses in DU. The average package students get is 6 LPA whereas the highest gets 11 LPA. Most of the students get into Data analysis and HR. Students did many internships in various fields like marketing, research, policy-making, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has a new hostel now which is will be started soon. Our college has two main buildings - Arts and New Science Block which is equipped with labs for computer Science, Biology lab, Chemistry lab, and Physics lab too. Our college canteen gives food at affordable, subsidized rates. We have different societies for different areas like zeal for contemporary dance, Galore as fashion society, Apollonia for music society, and many more. Overall, it has a great campus worth good facilities. Plus point:- We have a mother dairy booth inside our college for ice cream lovers.

Faculty: Our teachers are top-notch with great insights. They are helpful, strict, and knowledgeable. Our curriculum is rigorous but it is worth the hard work. The level of exams is the same for all colleges of DU and internals are quite good if one studies regularly. The pass percentage is above 90% for our course.

Other: I liked studying economics and it has great opportunities ahead so I chose this course and it was a good decision. Our college has its fest that is Raphsody and there is departmental too named as economical. Scholarships are given but they have some criteria based on income and grades.

Overall, it is a good college for girls.

Placements: In our college, students with 95% got placed. The placements depend on the students. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Good companies like Accenture come here. Maximum students got internships from college societies only.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The library is good. Sometimes, we face problems during classes when maximum strength comes to college because rooms are a bit small. I feel like this is the problem in 90% of DU colleges. The canteen is pretty good and offers good food.

Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful. We can even call them, and they won't get irritated. The problem is that if a teacher leaves the college due to some issue, the college takes a lot of time in appointing a new teacher for the same subject due to which we lack in the syllabus. Most of the time, it happens only with extra subjects.
