Placements: Around 50% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary offered is around Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. Our course is very flexible, and it offers many new opportunities to learn. The highest salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA.
Placements: Our college has established a placement cell, which conducts recruitment drives from time to time. But there is a little better scope for Honours students compared to science students. Even if you opt for placements at the UG level in this same course, then they are mostly not related to your field of work.
Placements: The college doesn't have a robust and high functioning placement cell. Luckily for me, the year I sat for placements (2017), at least two well-known companies came for my course and I, along with another, was able to secure placement in a company at 4.5L per annum, which was the highest package for our course. From what I know of the current scene, the placement cell has declined even more and doesn't have much to boast of. Even the companies that came during my time are reluctant now.
Placements: Almost 20-30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 5,000 per month. E&Y was the top recruiter. They should invite more big 4 companies and give importance to CA articleship students. Desk jobs were offered. There were no such big roles.
Placements: In my class, there are about 52 students, and the entire sociology batch comprises of 160 students. Sociology is a varied subject, and we have choices to choose from, and our college hosts internship fairs to select our preferred companies and intern there.
Placements: Many multinational companies visit the college for campus placements. Mainly juniors are called up for all the arrangements. Moreover, many companies also came for an entrepreneurship event where they took students for internships. This college offers good placements.
Placements: The placement cell of this college is very nice. They offer placement in various fields like HR, Finance, Marketing, Content writing and many more. Not only they make opportunity for jobs after graduation but also they give opportunity of working as an intern with the various companies. The company which came to the college are EY, KPMG, Axis bank HP and so on.
Placements: Placements were fine in this college. Companies like e&y, genpact, urbanclap etc. Visited the campus. The average package they offer is around 3.5 lacs. The profiles that were offered were like business development. The package was less as compared to other colleges in Delhi university.
Placements: Placements in our college were okay. Only a few companies visited the campus for placements. The placement cell did their best to organise a fair placement drive to boost our chances of selection. A fair percentage of students who appeared for placements were placed. Most of the students were offered profiles such as business analyst, audit analyst or data analysts.
Placements: Companies with good potential did not specifically visit Maitreyi College, instead, they conducted pool placements. Many jobs were offered in the field of content writing, which is not exactly relevant to the course. The committee needed more active and dedicated internship cell. There were very few opportunities in the field of research for people who want to study further can have hands-on experience. The guidance provided for CV building activities was low.
Placements: Maitreyi College has a placement cell which gives the best opportunity for every student, and most of the students are able to take advantages of this great opportunity. Every year, various companies are visiting Maitreyi College. The salary package offered was about 4-5 LPA. For internships, students are offered with the best stipend.
Placements: A good number of placements are provided by Maitreyi College, though I haven't tried any. Every day, I come across various news from the placement cell, various posts, pages on the college group, and some of them are good. Few of our batchmates have attended seminars and got very much influenced.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is quite active and keep the students updated regarding the companies visiting the campus and recruitment drives. Internship fairs are also organised every year. Stipends vary from Rs. 3,000 per month to Rs. 12,000 per month.
Placements: Placement drives are conducted regularly. Many students got placed. Good companies visited the campus for placements. I don't know much about placements as placements do not matter much in our course. Moreover, I was preparing for government jobs, so placements were not given a priority. However, few companies visited the campus now and then for offering internships.
Placements: The placements were pretty decent. The number of recruiters did not suffice as it doesn't cater to all the students. The placements vary by the department along with the batch size. The packages offered were average, and also it depends totally on the aspirant.
Placements: The placements for our batch weren't much good and not much-reputed companies visited the campus. We expected a lot, but only one or two good companies came for placements. Have there been many placements, many of us would get a good and reputed job.
Placements: There were no placements for the students of B.Sc Hons. botany. Students must have a B.Ed degree even to get placed in the teaching field. Most of the students changed their streams for higher education or decided to give university exam to do M.Sc. Therefore, there were no placements as such for this programme.
Placements: There are no placements, but students get a lot of opportunities to visit research centres and work with them, and the college provides us to work with Nanotech experiment. They take us to various universities and provide us with an opportunity to develop our nation with our knowledge.
Placements: Most of the students in science courses don't wish to go for jobs right after completing their graduation as they are not paid a good amount for this qualification. They look forward to pursuing masters to get a good profile job. It was the same in our case. We have a placement cell in our college which notifies you about all the companies that'd be coming for placements, but hardly, anyone registers for placements in our stream.
