Overall a good college with all facilities and with a good placement and internship chance.
Placements: Good placements, many of the people in 4th year got internships. Some people are also getting offers of around 15-20 LPA, which is good for a new college. Blackrock and some other top companies came for campus in this and also hired some students for internships.
Infrastructure: New updated course and infrastructure are top quality, being a new college and of Manipal. Wi-Fi is spread all over the campus, and you would receive good enough speed to get your work done. Hostels are good, room cleaning is done every 2-3 days. Mess food is better than most colleges in India. Manipal has its own hospital, so medical facilities are great. All the sports facilities are available; outdoor ones are free, for indoor you have to take a subscription, costing 24,000 yearly. This includes pool, air hockey, gym, foosball, indoor tennis, badminton, basketball, football, etc.
Faculty: Helpful and good teachers. You would really need to attend classes to score well. Course curriculum is new and better than the outdated one. Project clubs and extra activities are always there. Semester exams are easy if you just study 1 hour daily. The score goes a little higher because of the good quality of students.

Fee is high - but worth it!
Placements: MIT is a new institution and this is the first batch (2025). Until now 5-6 students are placed with packages like 35 LPA and the other students are yet to be placed but the college strives to get good companies to the college. The internships for the next batch have started and are provided by the college and the highest stipend was 1 Lakh for the internship. They offer various roles like software engineer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The rooms of the hostel look nothing less than a 3-star hotel. Every day room cleaners come and clean the room. The college infrastructure is so well built and maintained and some other blocks are yet to be constructed. The menu is good and we have opportunities to participate in sports events. There is a sick bay and the doctors there are well-qualified enough. WiFi is available for 24 hours with good speed.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and try to motivate you on things other than college (like journal papers). The course curriculum is up to date with current skill requirements. Semester exams are well balanced with toughness and easiness. The pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I chose cybersecurity because of the skill requirements for future job opportunities. I wish the course would be a little more hands-on and practical than just theory. Events and Fests are amazingly organised but the crowd here gets bored if it's not something exciting.

Review of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru.
Placements: The first batch is yet to be placed. Well-reputed companies are coming for placements. The 2025 batch is sitting for placements now. Most have them have grabbed good placement offers, and they can convert it into PPO and get paid well. The exact data about placement will be available by December 2024.
Infrastructure: The college is newly built, so the infrastructure here is very good. The classrooms are spacious, and we'll be equipped. They are well maintained. The hostels have a good infrastructure too. The mess food is hygienic, but the taste is average. For sports, we have a sports complex called Marena.
Faculty: The faculty is a mixed bag. Some are either overqualified or some are underqualified. In third year especially, study material is very sparse and teachers leave a lot to be desired. The course curriculum is very relevant but is too rushed to be useful. It requires some study on your own as well. Semester exams are not too difficult but you can't coast through them either.

Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
Placements: Our college is conducting its first placement drive, and many students are securing impressive pre-placement offers from top companies. Internships are leading to exciting opportunities for the 2025 batch, with several students landing good internships from reputable firms.
Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent new infrastructure, featuring clean and well-maintained classrooms. The Wi-Fi is decent, offering around 10-15 Mbps. The food in the mess is average but varied, catering to different tastes. For sports enthusiasts, we have a marena, a cricket ground, a football field, one tennis court, and two basketball courts.
Faculty: The faculty at our college is highly experienced, with most holding PhD degrees. They employ effective teaching methods, and the course is designed around current trends, ensuring relevance in the industry. While the exams aren't too difficult, the syllabus is extensive, so cramming the night before won’t be sufficient for achieving good marks.
