RVCE is an amazing college for value of money but it has no activities and regular fests.
Placements: Placements at RVCE are top-notch, making it the best college in Bangalore for placements. Even Apple visited this semester for placements. The average package for IT branches is around INR 16-20 LPA, which is excellent. Definitely consider RVCE for great placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: While frequent exams can be a bit overwhelming, overall, it’s manageable. The hostel facilities are decent, with new hostels under construction both on and off campus.
Faculty: The course is good, and the syllabus has been updated as the course is now CSE (AIML). There are numerous exams within a single semester, which can be challenging to handle. However, studying a week in advance for Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) is usually sufficient. Semester-end examinations occur months after the CIE and prepare students well for the final exams.
Other: The student crowd is great, but the campus itself is average.

The college was better than NITs. This college is best for placements.
Placements: Nearly 90 percent of students are placed every year. This year, until now 70 percent was placed and CS average is INR 18 lakhs and major companies like Microsoft etc. come. The highest package offered is above INR 30 Lakhs, which was given by Teckion limited and 2 others nearly to 30 members. There is rapid growth in internships. No doubt this college is for placements, please compare the percent of a student placed. The major recruiting companies are JP morgan, cisco etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was average. They have changed but they will start for the next batch. The food was bad (in my opinion). The library is until 9 pm. The new library is under construction. In the future, this college of engineering will merge into a university. The classrooms are quite neat and good, but some of the departments have old buildings.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, and there will be 2 internals and 1 improvement test. Teachers and professors are highly qualified. The difficulty is moderate and the lab is a waste of money. In the first year, everyone will pass and the semester fee is Rs. 5,000. They will change the syllabus as per requirements.
Other: Every year there is a fest that happens. There are many scholarships available, but you have to show an income certificate. It is near to the Global tech city where there are many restaurants.

A sneak peek into Bangalore's top college, 'RVCE'.
Placements: As AIML is a new branch, there are no placement records as such, but if we look at CSE, the college has a 100% placement rate with an average of 20 LPAs, and big companies such as Microsoft, JP Morgan, and Cisco visit the campus. The roles are primarily software development engineers. The highest package recorded was 92 lacs this year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The whole campus is connected to Wi-Fi, which students can use. The college also has a library, which has a large number of books. The hostel is also pretty decent, with average food in the mess. Due to construction going on on the campus, there are very few sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is only good. The course curriculum is made relevant by regularly updating it and adding things required by industries at the present time. The semester exams are divided into two major types: CIE and SEE, which are above-average exams.

Best for placements and study but no campus life.
Placements: It's a very good college in terms of placements. Our AIML first batch will be graduating in 2025. By now, in 2024, half of the students are already placed in companies with a median package of 22 LPA. Till now the lowest offered package was 12 LPA. The highest package offered was 55 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cisco, Flipkart, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: Since RVCE was established in the early 1960s, their infrastructure is currently very poor, and they are slowly being renovated or built one after the other. Currently half of the whole college is under renovation. The roads are not too good. Labs and equipment, they make us use the same equipment for 3-4 people during experiments. They recently renovated the hostel, which is a good thing. The mess food is manageable.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes us industry ready. The faculty here are very highly professional and explain things to us in detail. The exams at the start are a bit easy, but the following exams are very tough and go into the core subjects.
Other: Please don't expect any kind of fests. The campus life here isn't good. If you're willing to only study for 4 years and hoping for a good placement, this is the best college.
