It is a top-notch college which students must consider if they can afford.
Placements: Due to the institute's large network of alumni, more than 90% of the students got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered can go to 9-10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is maybe 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are GE Healthcare, Aditya Automotive, Tata Motors, etc. All the students got an internship in good companies through our college, and some of them converted internship into job.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the institute are of top-notch. There is free Wi-Fi within the campus and a huge library with all the necessary books required. They also give free access to the library at the comfort of our home. There is more than one canteen with good food. The sports complex is near the campus with almost everything which students can imagine. Hostel facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with doctorate degrees from IITs and with great working and teaching experience. Quality of teaching is top-notch. The course curriculum is highly relevant, which makes us industry-ready. There are electives in the 2nd semester and a whole year of internship project in a company or on the campus.
Other: I have chosen this course on my interest after bachelors in mechanical engineering. The best thing about this course is it is an in-depth study on all the fundamental subjects which are learnt few in the bachelor's degree. There are technical and cultural events like Revels which occur every year. Campus life is great with many extracurricular activities, active technical and cultural student clubs representing in national and international events. The whole year of internship is the best part which is provided by barely a few colleges. So both practical and theoretical knowledge is gained along with being industry-ready.

Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.
Placements: The placements are good for the B.Tech programme. For M.Tech, the placements are with the B.Tech stream only, but it is good. The companies like Mercedes Benz, Yamaha, Robert Bosch, Infosys, etc., come to the college for placements. 50% of the students of this stream are placed in the companies.
Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, state of the art lab with flexible timings, 24x7 libraries, special concession medical benefits, sports facilities like wooden courts, marina, and many more. The food is one of the best in India from continental to local foods.
Faculty: The faculty members are very highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful for all the students. The files use conventional teaching methods like chalk and talk, presentations, etc. They teach in the industry perspective and give insight to the current industrial scenarios.
Other: They conduct inter-college fest called Revels. The technical fest called TechTatva, and many more.
