Decent to good infrastructure with well qualified faculty members.

Placements: The placements is not offered in the branch of civil, but one can be placed in IT jobs (if interested). They still assist, guide and try their best to help you get placed. In the year of 2018 the placements was good and internships was well provided, now after pandemic various steps are taken in providing these opportunities.

Saves money, reasonable fee amount ( from my perspective). .

Placements: Due to pandemic, many 12th passed out students were not able to join colleges. So in my course, they are 200 students places, combining all the departments in my academic year will be around 600 approximately. Meenakshi College of Engineering provides good placement, very good facilities, and I learned a lot.

Placements: For campus interviews, students of all courses should score a minimum of 65% of marks in their academics. Companies which visited here are good, and the average salary offered is between Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 per month. In our college, it’s a very good opportunity for students to attend interviews for good companies. In campus, it is very easy to get selected. Overall, it is a very good college.

This is the one of the very few colleges located inside the Chennai. I would say this is a good place for the students who are above average. One of the major disadvantage of this college is no campus placements except some BPO. Apart from that, this is a good place to spend 4 years of engineering life.
