Review of MCET - Murshidabad College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide good placements. About 20% of students got placed in core companies. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs.10,000 per month. The top recruiting company is L&T. Top multinational companies visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. Our college has a playground, but sports instruments are fewer. The food served in the canteen is expensive. They provide a variety of food items. Our college has a library. Medical facilities are not available in our college.
Faculty: Our department has few teachers. Our teachers are helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is not good. Semester exams are conducted very strictly. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to become a civil engineer. The best thing about this course is that we construct buildings and bridges.

It is a good college for placements.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are not available in our college like Wi-Fi, laboratories, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. The course curriculum makes students industry ready.
Other: I chose this course because I loved it. Everything is good in our college.

It is a good engineering college for getting only a degree.
Placements: I was not interested in the placements. Currently, I am preparing for government jobs. The college does not offer you good enough jobs, and none of the colleges does like that. The placement sector never bothered about students as they never looked for placements. However, some of my friends are placed well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but the exposure is missing there. The general subjects like physics, chemistry, and environment have a good team of faculty. But the core engineering needs more capable and experienced faculty. I think this goes for all of our college departments, and the rest is okay.
Faculty: Teachers helped us with everything they can. Teachers in labs and classrooms are good. They were not highly qualified, but they really work hard to teach us. However, some teachers were extraordinary.

I think this is the best college for proper study.
Placements: The placements in our college are not bad. About 25-30 companies come for the placements. Overall, there are very good placements. The students can trust the college for various placements. The students can get a chance for a new turn of life.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The classrooms are comfortable and clean. The library has a variety of books required by the students. Our college cares about the health of the students by conducting various sports events. The medical facilities are also good. The labs are too peaceful to have a proper study.
Faculty: The faculty in our college are good. They don't refuse us for any problems that we share with them. They always try to solve ourselves problems and advice us for a better future. They spend extra time with the students for guiding them towards their career.
Other: Every year, we have the annual sports, social ceremony, annual fest. We use our canteen, where we get a various good quality of food items.

The mightiest college of Murshidabad, MCET.
Placements: 65% students were placed by placements, and we got four thousand rupees internship from the college. The lowest stipend we have got till now is Rs. 2000 and the highest amount of stipend we have got is Rs. 8000. There are very few placements and we think we should have been given more chances than other colleges.
Infrastructure: Our college is the most popular B.Tech college in Murshidabad and we are thankful for that. In our college, we have Wi-Fi facility, labs, good classroom, a library with lots of books. There is no medical facility though I am sure it will be available soon, and sports and games facilities are also available. There are 2 labs for civil engineering and I can't tell about other department labs and classrooms. Two types of food are available in the canteen, bread and tea and bread and egg. I haven't faced any infrastructure issue during our tenure at the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly with students. They are very good at teaching. We have 8 teachers in our department. Teachers use the board and marker to teach. The student to faculty ratio is 90:10. We have got industry exposure. I can't describe it properly but the curriculum course is very useful to all the students.
Other: I have told you all about my college. There is everything which is needed in a perfect college.
