Good college for personality development.
Placements: The highest package offered was 12 LPA to 4 students in Junglee games. The average package offered was 3.2 LPA. There were many top recruiting companies coming at the time of placement, like TCS Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, Green city and more. There were also small companies that took 2-3 students with an average package of 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities but the college does not spend a lot on its maintenance. The libraries have all types of books available in them. The college does not have any dress code, which is a plus. The quality of the mess food available is also not that great but average.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable. You have to reach the teachers if you want to grab some extra knowledge. The teachers never say no when you have doubts related to any query. The teachers also provide us with industry knowledge as well. The semester exams pass percentage is about 80% in all subjects.

Things you need to know before taking admission here.
Placements: Most MNC companies, like Accenture, Cognizant, and Hexaware, visited our campus for the 2023 batch of CS students, and Cognizant was a mass recruiter among all. It gave offers to around 160+ students, including 99 from B.Tech CSE. Also, many other startup-type companies from Noida and Delhi came, like Hanu, Collabera, Dayal Infosystem, and Deloitte (15 students from B.Tech CSE). Overall placement was average, as the number of students in the CSE branch and companies visiting the campus was comparatively small.
Infrastructure: For B.Tech CSE, labs were there with enough computer systems; also, a new robotics lab was inaugurated, which is equipped with the latest robotics equipment. Also, for other core branches, labs were good, and proper practicals were conducted by teachers. Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus was there. Classrooms are big enough; some are with high-tech facilities like projectors, sound systems, smart boards, and full Wi-Fi. There is a good library on campus in which all types of books required throughout the semesters are there, but books are given on a first-come, first-served basis, so take books as soon as your semester starts. The hostel was also good, with all facilities: good food, daily cleaning, security outside the hostel, 24 * 7 medical amenities, and a hostel warden in the hostel. But I only took hostel in my first year; it cost me more as compared to living outside campus, where you can get a good room for around 4,000 Rs, and you can manage food from tiffin services. Mostly, students take rooms outside; very few students who come from very far away take hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and help students a lot. Proper classes are conducted by teachers throughout the semester; also, sometimes extra classes are also conducted if the syllabus is not complete or there are some students with short attendance. The college is affiliated with AKTU, so the curriculum was the same as AKTU's. Some subjects are not relevant to the course but are still taught as they are in the curriculum, but the college takes the initiative of introducing new technology to students by conducting seminars or inviting experts to the college so students get exposure to the industry. Semester exams are easy to pass, but anyone has to start their study before 1 month of the semester exam, as papers are prepared by AKTU. The pass percentage was around 90%. But you also have to take class tests seriously and prepare well for that also. Students have to maintain 60% attendance to appear in class tests as well as for semester exams; otherwise, the college will detain you from class tests and semester exams. Also, you have to attend all labs; it is mandatory to maintain 60% attendance in practical labs also.
Other: I chose that course as I have been interested in programming since my intermediate, and I chose that college as it was the only good college nearby my hometown (the best college in Meerut city). The course curriculum can be better so it gives more industry exposure, and subjects that are outdated should be removed from the curriculum. Multiple events are organized by the college, like dandiya nights, Holi parties, and many more. Also, there was a sports council; if you are interested in any of the sports, you get enough opportunity to play in different colleges. The campus surroundings are good, there are canteen facilities, and connectivity to the railway station is also good. It costs around 30 rupees to reach the institute from the railway station by auto-rickshaw.

Not satisfied with placements. Campus is good and faculty is cooperative.
Placements: The maximum package offered was 8 LPA, which was cracked by 1 student. The minimum was 2 LPA. 30% of students got placed. The total number of students was around 400. Top companies were Deloitte, TCS, TransUnion, Wipro, and Capgemini, and some small startups. Around 30% of students got internships. Software developer and associate are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: This college offers all labs needed for your course. The condition of labs and classrooms is quite good. Total 3 to 4 libraries are also present for each respective department, open for students all the time. Hostels are decent with decent infrastructure and have cameras all around the area and food is nice.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty are helpful. They are highly qualified for their respective subjects and mostly are Ph.D. Their teaching skills are also nice. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the course. If students follow it sincerely, they are good to work in industry. Semester exams are not too difficult. All topics given in the exam are tough in class, and the pass percentage is also around 80% different for different subjects.

Our college is good for each and every student.
Placements: About sixty to seventy percent of the students got placed in our course last semester. The highest package was about 12 lacs per annum and the minimum package was about 3.5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Samsung, Deloitte, Nestle, Cognizant and many more companies are visiting every semester. About 40 percent of the students got internships in different courses.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure that college management is providing are good for everyone. Facilities such as free Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library and auditoriums are all well maintained. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen food is good for everyone.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in our college. There is good operation between students and teachers. This course is relevant to our curriculum and it makes students ready for industry-level. The semester exam is conducted by AKTU University.

Facts one should be aware of, before taking admission in MIET.
Placements: So talking about the placements, the placement record of MIET is very pathetic. Recently there was a placement drive in the campus and the number of placements were merely around 50 students, literally 50 and I was shocked to know this. And the highest role offered was of Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: I do not reside in hostel as I am a day scholar but the hostel food is very bad just enough to survive, which I had once. The classrooms are okay and as typical classrooms. There are two libraries in the campus and the Wi-Fi facility is good and canteen food is okay.
Faculty: Honesty speaking, the faculty is quiet supportive. But the number of experienced faculty is very low in the campus. The course and curriculum quality was very much low as per expectations. The difficult level of end semester exams are moderate to difficult.
Other: I did choose this college because this is very near from my correspondence address so that I could have saved the travel time.
