Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.

It had good placements in 2020, and it is an amazing place to showcase your talents.
Placements: Almost 80% of students who were willing to attend interviews got placed. We faced this corona condition during our final semester, which didn't affect us since many of our batch students got places during 7th semester. Many of my batchmates were placed in several companies like Zoho, Mr Cooper, Justdial, Comcast, CTS, Verint, Infosys, and many more. The packages offered are between 3 to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped with cloud services. Technicians will solve whatever the existing issue is. Wi-Fi speed and connectivity are too good to work on projects and studies. The library is well-equipped with books on each category and magazines are available too. There are separate hostels for students of each year, and the food facility is amazing, with almost 3 times non-veg per week. Students can choose what they need. Both indoor and outdoor facilities are available, especially an equipped gym.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in every aspect. Anyone can feel free to reach out to them in case of any queries. Hands-on teaching is done for several courses. Semester exams are made easy by conducting internal exams each month, so there is no difficulty preparing at the last minute. The pass percentage is 80%, and there are less chances of failure.
Other: Several fests are held in the college. Some cultural activities and several club activities are conducted for each category like Maths club, fine arts club etc. Any student can participate and enrich their speaking skills. A tech fest is conducted each year, and students organise and participate. Management scholarships are provided to students who secure more than some specified CGPA by management. Students are encouraged by this feature. Mobile phones are not allowed here.

The college prepares a student to be capable of surviving in any situation.
Placements: Students are trained to gain all the qualities required to attend the placements. More than 300 companies visited the campus, and more than 3,000 students got placed in all reputed companies. Not only IT but also banking sector companies visited the campus, and students got placed in the banking sector companies too.
Infrastructure: Mepco is mainly talked about its infrastructure. The campus has separate buildings for all departments. Well-equipped lab facilities are available, and students can use the labs at night as well. All the necessary arrangements are made. The place where I used to spend most of my time is the ground. It is huge and has a peaceful environment. My life in Mepco would have been incomplete without the basketball ground. I will love it all my life.
Faculty: Only well qualified members are recruited in Mepco. The most experienced and overqualified faculty members are seen everywhere on the campus. They always carry books in their hands. The student-faculty ratio was 30:1. Not only whiteboards but smart boards were also used while teaching for a better understanding of students.
Other: As a sportsperson, I am mostly involved in ground activities. We were allowed to attend inter college and intra-college events. Other than that, an academic fest called Gyanmitra is conducted every year for students to get exposure. Students of other colleges will also be invited to participate in these events. All the interested and talented students in the are identified and encouraged well in extracurricular activities.

Had some reputation when I joined but not now.
Placements: 50% of students have been placed till now. The highest package is 10 lpa, the lowest package is 3 lpa, and the average package is 6 lpa. The top recruiting companies are Zoho, Accenture, Sabre, etc. 25% of students got internships at companies like Zoho. The top roles offered are software developer, software engineer, Associate Software engineer, quality tester, etc.
Infrastructure: Buildings and Infrastructure facilities for both college and hostel are above average. But for Wi-Fi most of website are blocked. Wi-Fi is not always available it will available only on certain time slots. We can't use internet always. Labs are good provided with Wi-Fi all the time. Library is good with some of the important books. Classrooms are good with enabled projectors, etc. Hostel is good. But using phones is not allowed in hostel and college. Food is Good. But same menu every week. Some of the food is not good.
Faculty: We can see all kind of teachers here. Some of them are friendly and most of them are strict especially in Mech. Some teach very good and some won't they even know want they are teaching. But there still some gem teacher who try to teach their best. Curriculum is relevant. Passing the exams is easy.

The best college to gain knowledge.
Placements: Placements in Mepco are getting rapid attention as there is an assurance for at least 90% placement opportunities. Students doing well in academics get a chance of internship during their eighth semester. Placements are really exciting in Mepco. Students should be really talented to get placed within a few days of the beginning of the placement season. Placement training provided in our college is worth it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the thing to be noted majorly in this institution. It has a clean and quiet ambience to give a pace for students to concentrate on studies. The greenery in Mepco is mind refreshing. People get accustomed to the mind-blowing environment in this institute. The peaceful environment enables people to move around on the campus freely and also makes the teaching comfortable.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college here are talented and provide a lot of information to students beyond the curriculum. They are easy going and friendly with students. The presentations made by them grasp the students' attention and clear doubts at any time. Practical knowledge is provided to students to gain a better understanding. Mentors are arranged for each group of 15 students.
Other: Every week, our college organises clubs exist and exciting events to bring the talent of young minds to light.

Good infrastructure, great faculties,average placement records in 2018 and dissatisfied with rules.
Placements: Currently the placements in our college are a bit in a bad stage. Only the CSE and it students will get placed or the students with their skills. It companies are only coming for the recruitment. The average salary packages are good about 15 LPA for the students in the creamy layer but on the other side the packages do also goes much deep downer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great inside the campus even though the college is situated kms away from the city. There are separate departments and its great feel to be here. The department buildings are spacious enough that would bring in a mood for an effective classroom.
Faculty: Speaking about the curriculum there cannot be no better justice done to it at mepco. Even though the curriculum is at the best form the question papers being set for the semester examinations are yet to be improved to provide a quality education. The faculty are serving with their best efforts and helping the students. The faculty members are making up the college.
Other: One and the most important thing in the college is it's bad strict rules which are being implement very harsh.
