Dissatisfied with placements, but the hostel and others facilities are excellent.
Placements: The college doesn't provide 100% placement assurance. The main recruiting companies are Tata Motors, Wipro, and Amazon. Only 10-20% of students got internships in our batch. Instrumentation technician, calibration specialists, safety officer, and control room operator are the best roles offered in this course.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent atmosphere for students. Free Wi-Fi is available. A huge library facility and well-structured classrooms are available. The auditorium is the best part of college. The hostel is unique from others as it provides tasty food and hospitality. The college has a ground for football and basketball and a badminton court.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and qualified. The course is relevant, but the practical part of the course is very less (this course is mostly industry-oriented). I don't think any course makes students industry-ready. It only gives a clear picture from experience.
Other: I heard that there are a lot of job opportunities in this field with high salary packages. Only a few colleges offer this course in Kerala. I think it needs to provide more industrial exposure to students for further improvement. Extracurricular activities are conducted based on the students' smartness.

Other: The college has a student-friendly atmosphere and very nice campus. It is well equipped with labs and other workshops. But the drawback point is that it follows the technical syllabus which is thrown out from premier institutions like IIT, NIT etc. in the 1980s. That is, it is using technologies which are thrown away by companies before two decades.

Review of MES College of Engineering.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. Job fairs are conducted for opportunities. The placement cell is very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, and our main campus is outdated. Hostel facilities are better in terms of fee structure. The food served in the hostel is not good. Non-vegetarian food items are offered in the hostel. Wi-Fi facilities are satisfactory. Laboratory is also decent. Sports facilities are not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. Our college management is turning this into a boarding school. Semester exams are moderate.
Other: Events and fests are conducted but this college does not fund any major events.
