Miranda House Review - Placements, Campus life, Fests, and everything else you need to know.
Placements: Majority of the placements, around 80 percent, are from Economics Honours, a few from Maths Honours, and then 1 or 2 students get placed from courses such as BAP, Political Science Honours. Last year, the highest placement was for 19 LPA, and the median package was 6 LPA, the lowest being around 3-4 LPA. Companies like Amazon, KPMG, Nation with Namo, and Barclays come to the campus for roles such as policy associate, data analyst, consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: Library, labs, and classrooms are well built. The only problem is the AC; the college does not have AC, and even in classes that have AC, they hardly work. Other facilities such as canteen, Wi-Fi are good, and the campus is beautiful. Washrooms can be better. They are average.
Faculty: Teaching quality is amazing. The teachers are qualified, but also the constant tests, assignments can be overwhelming. The course curriculum is the same as the rest of DU. Maths honours is industry-relevant, but you need to gain additional skills in order to grab placements. The semester exams' difficulty level is medium.
Other: Miranda House never allows outsiders in any of the college events. It is always only for the students of the college. The fests are good, but you can't invite your friends.

Like a dream come true—amazing college with a familiar surrounding.
Placements: On Miranda House, at least 12.3% of students from the Maths department are placed. The highest package goes up to the range of 21 LPA, the median is 9 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Nation with Namo, ZS Associates, Accenture, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our Maths department is very well maintained and it's new. Labs are very good, it has AC facilities and proper Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are spacious with proper ventilation. Overall, our department is amazing and proper. The food in the canteen is also of good quality with a variety of food. There are big grounds for sports, and it also has a gym. Many events occur to increase the students' performance in sports.
Faculty: Teaching quality is superb. Teachers are well qualified with humble and polite behavior. They have great knowledge of their field. The course curriculum is relevant and also makes a student industry-ready and creates better future opportunities. Semester exams are not difficult; only consistent hard work is required and you will easily do it.
Other: I had a genuine interest in mathematics, so I opted for it. Actually, what made it interesting for me was my interest in taking problems as a challenge and solving them. College life is full of events and fests. The crowd makes you feel like you're in a familiar environment. A lot of extracurricular activities take place here.

Miranda House: a game changer to your personality
Placements: Only a few students were placed. In case of internship its very good many students got it. In case of companies not many visit to the college, in this aspect Miranda is quite lagging behind. It should make more efforts towards but it isn't that bad, you won't regret for choosing it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and in a well condition better than rest of nearby colleges. AC are provided and efforts are making towards making whole college air conditioned. Projectors are there in every class. Good condition of chairs and benches and a well and good ventilation also is there.
Faculty: Faculty of the department is best, very cooperative, helps you in all the ways possible. Special mentorship is also provided by them. The teachers are very well qualified. The curriculum is isn't that much hard. If we talk about semester exams, they are quiet easy for a hardworking student.

Really the top college in India with high academic focus and full college life enjoyment too.
Placements: 90% of students were placed. We didn't get enough information about this, but we know that most of the pass-out students get really good jobs inside and outside of India. Many of the UPSC toppers are from our college as well. Some of them are active public speakers, renowned by many people.
Infrastructure: We get free Wi-Fi across the whole campus. We have enough lab classrooms for use and a really big library. The hostel fee is really low, and all the necessary things are provided. A good variety of foods is given in the hostel along with fruits. The mess and washrooms are clean as well.
Faculty: Our teachers are really hardworking, and the semester exams are above average, but teachers teach us really well. Working on previous years' questions helps us a lot. Students are encouraged to take different courses outside their fields to increase their experience.
Other: We get a lot of internships for experience and a lot of scholarships to support students.

A garden of knowledge, happiness, operation, support and understanding.
Placements: There are many offers of placements here. And also, there are many societies in the college that guide us for the placements in which we are interested.
Infrastructure: Our college is well equipped with the facilities and infrastructure necessary to support a quality education. The campus provides everything that students need to succeed, including access to Wi-Fi, laptops, and a well-stocked library. The library even allows students to borrow books for a limited time.
Faculty: The teachers at my college are very helpful and cooperative. They made themselves available to answer questions and provide guidance. The courses were challenging, but I found that the teachers were able to help me understand the material. In addition, the teachers regularly gave us assignments and tests to help us prepare for exams.
Other: I chose B.Sc (Hons.) Maths because I was interested in the subject, and I found the course to be very interesting. It connected me with the world through the different topics covered. Our college organizes an annual fest called TEMPEST, which attracts a lot of students. There are also departmental fests organized by different departments.

It depends on the cutoff marks of every college respectively. There is no entrance exam for admission in B.Sc (hons) courses in Miranda House. Admissions are done solely on the cutoffs given out.
