A: 
NMIMS CET or Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is the entrance exam that is required for admission to BTech course at Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering. It is a university-level undergraduate common entrance test. Candidates who pass the exam will be admitted to one of the five NMIMS campuses located at Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Indore and Chandigarh. 
NMIMS CET procedure to take BTech admission at Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME) is as follows:
Step 1- Apply for NMIMS CET: Candidates must first apply for the NMIMS CET entrance exam. The NMIMS CET is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and is used for admission to all NMIMS programs, including BTech at MPSTME. Candidates can check the step-wise NMIMS-CET 2024 application process below:
  • Visit the official website of NMIMS-CET: nmimscet.in
  • Click on ‘Apply Now’ and create an account
  • Login using the registered email address and password
  • Fill out the NMIMS CET application form by clicking the ‘Edit’ button on top.
  •  Enter the required details and upload the documents as per the prescribed format
  • Click on ‘Submit’
  • Pay the application fee and complete the process
Step 2- Appear for NMIMS CET: The NMIMS CET is typically held in the month of May. The exam is a computer-based test and consists of three sections:
     Section 1: Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
     Section 2: Logical Reasoning
     Section 3: General Knowledge and English
Step 3- Check NMIMS CET results: The NMIMS CET results are typically declared within a few weeks of the exam. Candidates can check their results on the NMIMS website.

Q:   What will be the total Fees of the programme at Mukesh Patel School of Technology?

The fee structure for B.Tech will be as per NMIMS University norms.
- Fees for the 4th and the fifth year will be out of state tuition fees as prescribed by the
Virginia Tech Bursar’s Office.
- Estimated cost of attending Virginia Tech campus (As per 2021-22 published rates) is
as follows:
• For UG academic year required cost $39033 + other estimated cost $24,395
• For Graduate academic year required cost $40,235 + other estimated cost $24575
- Students should note that the fees at VT would applicable, would be prescribed in their respective academic year. These fees do not include cost of stay, health Insurance, books personal expenses etc..
- Aspirants should also consider the cost savings of a 5 year BS & MS programme conducted
in US versus the cost of the coordinated programme where the first 3 years are completed
in India, leading to 3 degrees.

    I am highly satisfied with this college.
    Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges between 60 LPA - 70 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA - 10 LPA. The top recruiting company is Tata Consultancy Services. Internships are also offered in this course. The top roles offered are HR and developer.
    Infrastructure: All facilities are available in this college. Wi-Fi is also enabled. It has a separate laboratory for physics, electrical, etc. Our classrooms are spacious with a smart board and 4 whiteboards are there. Library, self-study area, play area, and corridor area are maintained properly. Hostel facilities are average. The food served in the canteen is better. Medical facilities are better. Sports and games are not provided in this college.
    Faculty: Faculty members are Ph.D. scholars. They are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant and helps us with real-life problems and learning. It also makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are tough. If we attend classes regularly then we can score good marks.
    Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course is that it is in partnership with TCS and provides great support to students with many opportunities. This college should reduce its fee structure. All committees are available. Events and fests are organised every other day. Our campus surroundings are great and accessible to all the places easily but this course is very expensive.

    It provides good infrastructure and placements.
    Placements: The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The average is greater for MBA Tech courses, and computer courses have better placements than other courses. The highest salary pacakge offered is around 15 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered ranges from 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The top recruiting company is TCS, and the roles offered are usually related to the computer and software domain, along with some business-related roles.
    Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are excellent. Wi-Fi has issues sometimes but it is good usually. The library has many books and has a very conducive atmosphere. The quality of food in the canteen is good, although there is not a lot of space to sit sometimes.
    Faculty: Teachers are good enough, lectures get rescheduled or canceled many times, so there are extra lectures later after college which is not great. The curriculum is good enough, good for making the students industry-ready. The semester exams are usually not that difficult, and the pass percentage is almost 100%.
    Other: I opted for this course because it seemed unique to me, also it is a new course, and the syllabus attracted me. The course starts with computer topics and then goes on to include more business and management topics. The events and other fests are great and overall college life is good.

    It is one of the best colleges for CSBS (computer science business systems).
    Placements: As per our seniors' placement record, the placement rate is pretty good as TCS has guaranteed that it would prefer CSBS over any other branch. After this course, students prefer to complete their MBA before doing a job. However, companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., favour the students of CSBS over any other branch.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good here and up to date, but there is no campus life due to the land unavailingly in Mumbai. The classrooms give a very positive vibe, and the cafeteria has a variety of food items. The medical staff members are also available at all times.
    Faculty: Due to this online mode of teaching, the professors have tried their level best to adapt to these circumstances. The teachers here are highly qualified, and most of them have PhDs and have a quite amount of experience in teaching. The computer science and business systems course contain core engineering subjects, but every semester there is a subject for business which would help in future. There are nearly 6-7 subjects per semester, whereas other core engineering branches have only 4-5 subjects.
    Other: If you expect good campus life, then don't choose this college because there is a building where floors are segregated as per branches. However, the experience and crowd would be excellent compared to any other college outside Mumbai.

    I am highly satisfied because of the great college infrastructure and crowd.
    Placements: Top recruiting companies of our college are Flipkart, Infosys and Dell. Our seniors were satisfied with their placements. Some students are offered beginner positions as analysts, assistants and junior developers. Some students got placements in banks and were responsible for handling their operations.
    Infrastructure: Our college has a very good canteen, labs and halls in general. The Wi-Fi connection is good, and the college is well air-conditioned. Campus life is fun. The boys' lounge has a table tennis establishment. The library is well air-conditioned and filled with all sorts of books, and we can even use the PCs available.
    Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and they are ready to help and solve doubts. This course is designed to make students industry-ready. The course is designed to teach students and to keep them up to date with what is required for them from jobs, like teaching new languages and offering exciting elective options like cloud computing and machine learning.
    Other: I wish there were more fun college events. I have chosen this curriculum because it has business studies, and I am interested in learning more about business. I aim to become a highly successful entrepreneur running multiple million-dollar businesses.
